Be interesting to see how long this counting down when the keeper holds the ball goes on for, and how often it’s enforced!

Yeah probably didn’t help his case with his theatrics chances of him getting booked for simulation for his next effort? As he’s gone down too easily 3 times already, although with the penalty one I did think it could have been given

really was! How it wasn’t given I have no idea But it’s Marley it seems (wasn’t sure at first but since confirmed in above replies 🤣) yet he’s just given that one against BTA! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Rushworth did well despite that offside. Made himself big like how we’re always looking forward. And plenty of long balls from him rather than pissing about with goal kicks too

    Thomas & Kitching

Both capable but if we want to challenge up at the top of the table consistently, they’re not the answer. defence needs an overhaul this summer. I like Bobby Thomas, not much ground he doesn’t cover, but when games are 0-0 and he’s further up than our strikers like last Friday just before the...

    Centre Forward

Can’t stand most Americans at the best of times, but, when they try to talk football, I completely shut off! 🤣

How is that a warning? Again blatant unsporting behaviour and only gets spoken to Any other team and better officials that’s a second yellow Or in the Prem they’d be talking about it

Burnley are a poor side to be up top. But they’re playing a tactical game. Compared to Leeds and Sheff United they’ve looked poor

Fucking time outs now even without a player needing to go down! Refs lost control and they know it

Match Thread Coventry City - Burnley FC Match Thread - Saturday 5th Apr

You’d think they’d be looking for a third but don’t think I’ve seen another team put all their men back like it! Not a single player up top for them atm and every clearance coming to us

Thomas and Kitching leading the line in trying but Allen is too soft Should be in the refs ear for every call! Why weren’t they arguing over that Tats one? Yes he’s given the foul but it couldn’t be any more blatant

Ball looked out, but expect nothing else from officials. that said, school boy stuff defending and you play to the whistle. And you can’t let a man be free to strike the ball from that range and not result in a goal
