Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

It's really stirring the hornets nest.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Surely the very fact that Sisu are still going ahead with the JR appeal would ptevent anybody else from attempting to buy the stadium anyway? Would be classed as material uncertainty surely for that sort of investment.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Michael rapidly changing the "C"'s to "W's on his t-shirts now to get rid of his excess stock. "Keep Wasps in Wycombe"

Granted, it doesn't do a lot of good!

Prefer linking the old posts where people said that we were stupid to even question Sisu to be honest. One thing about them, they're always 100% convinced that they're right.

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

"Hanky Panky Krankie" one of my favourite headlines when the swinging stories came out.

Back in the day used to have some seriously good(and serious) debates on there, as well as just calling each other cunts of course. A lot of people left and came over to here to reinvent themselves as passionate anti-Sisu campaigners, after being their most avid fans though.

They asked for a short term deal, ACL said no. They asked for independent mediation, ACL said no. They asked for a share of match day F@B(apparently getting 20% of it now, so OSB said), ACL said no. ACL also said there was no chance of a return to the Ricoh if they continued with the JR...

Are you referring to ACL there? Seen a lot of that mentioned, but seems that Sisu have got pretty much everything that they wanted from ACL. Though shouldn't be about "winners" and "losers" now, just playing football back home.

    Never happy!

True enough, but we only had a 23,500 capacity then. It seems that quite a few agree with Fisher that we should build a smaller ground that could extend the capacity as and when needed. Who'd have thought eh?

    2,500 tickets sold for Saturday

Just remembered that that game was on my 40th Birthday! Think it was "League of Nations" or something being celebrated throughout the Football League so everybody had reduced tickets. Some may say that I should have been doing something a bit more exciting for my 40th, but what could beat a win...

    2,500 tickets sold for Saturday

Do think though that the club reduce tickets when not needing to and needlessly reduce revenue, would have expected a reasonable crowd for that game anyway. The 5 pound ticket for the JPT semi final was ridiculous, would have still sold out at 10-15 pounds.

Sure the biggest walk up must have been the Middlesborough cup tie at £15 a ticket, think about 28,000 crowd and an awful lot seemed to be buying on the day. Lovely goal by Stern John too, best striker we've had since we got relegated from the top league.

The beer goggles would need to be tinted there!

    Yeovil Attendance

To be fair, the unseasonably good weather, if it holds, will add to any walk up I'd have thought. Though anybody in the CET stand won't see fuck all in the second half!

Going by LAST's comment, i think i was referring to the old closure, really has been a good while since ventured there. The smoking ban destroyed a lot of the pub business too, especially, old school pubs.

Really needs a "pub run" to the ground, might be the case for some, but certainly is for me, that watching Cov sober is not always a pleasant experience!
