Paxman. I agree with alot of what you say, and hope you are right in a lot of other stuff you say as well, but this is the bit I struggle with. Relegation will surely only further our financial worries. There will be no let up to get our house in order.
Even if we keep hold of every member of...
Wow they love him.
He could have had all that here if he wasn't so unlucky with injuries. Not a bad word to say about him. I'd love it if he came back, but I'd take the money as well.
I might be wrong, but I have to disagree.
The very fact that you are registered on this site and still discussing Coventry demonstrates some level of faith. It might be a low level of faith but it is there. I'd argue that even Glen and Ian have faith in us. Otherwise supporting the club would...
By the way, even with that faith, I think that if we are relegated, it will be a long, hard battle to achieve promotion or even stay in League 1. It almost certainly will not be achieved in one season.
Just had a look at Sheff Weds ticket prices, they charge £20 for adults and £12 for juniors. Not a great deal of difference. I really do think that, along with all the promotions the club put on, ticketing is reasonable.
Without that faith, what else have I got? I have to believe, otherwise, what is the point?
I've only been a fan since the early 90's. I had a season ticket between 1996 and 2003. I then had a break (which I actually think is healthy when supporting a team like Coventry) where I attended around...
With my season ticket next year it works out as £11 a match for me and free for my daughter, albeit she's under 7. That sounds like a better deal than the one you propose. I'm not sure how far off an over 7s ST but I can't imagine it'd be far off £5.
I wouldn't call £11 a match "paying through the nose" but I see where you are coming from.
Next season will be my daughters first with a season ticket. I have renewed and I believe that we will rise again. The good times will return. Relegation will be a complete disaster as we just haven't...
