At the risk of repeating myself, SISU have at least as many questions to answer (I think many would say, more), but for some reason Stuart is maintaining silence on those. That does not appear to be balanced and a number of posters on here are wondering why.

For me that isn't the issue Edgy. I'd like as much information as possible, but I think that SISU have at least as much to explain (as an example, which company is the Football League share in?) but Uncle Stuart seems unconcerned by those issues.

Must confess I was surprised at his tone. Maybe they've got to be nice to SISU so they'll tell them which ground their commentary team has to go to on Friday. On an unrelated topic, if we still have a club next season can we get Rob Guerney back please.

You really shouldn't be so literal. Torch was "confused" about why people might believe ACL spokespeople over SISU. I pointed out that PWKH had been good enough to post on the forum (bearing in mind that the discussion was about a post he had just made) and went on to say that I had found...

If what he said was factual and truthful, then I wouldn't see why not. As I'm sure you're bright enough to work out, it's the factual and truthful bit that's important rather than the posting on the forum.

To ease your confusion.... I judge people on their actions. One party has been good enough to come on this site and inform us what is happening. So far I have had no reason to doubt what he says. The other party, well the less said the better.... Hope that helps.

It's obvious that that would work best for both parties. In my view SISU entered the rent negotiations with a reasonably strong moral argument and a very weak legal position. I think that they massively overplayed their hand and in the process appeared to go out of their way to piss off...

Have you read the ACL statement ?

If that is so, perhaps you might consider asking yourself why it might be so and if it might have anything to do with SISU's behaviour.

Perhaps an agreement would have been reached earlier if SISU hadn't (in my opinion based on what has been reported) negotiated in the style of sulky teenagers, metaphorically slamming their bedroom door every time they didn't get their way.

There is certainly a rumour that he's broken it, but apparently he's been advised by his lawyers not to comment....

I can only speak for myself, but my issue with SISU/TF's handling of the issue was that it was so inept. Talk about over-playing your hand....

Or perhaps it was just that as an intelligent chap, he saw that it would be a waste of effort to reason with those who have a fixed mindset and so restricted himself to a brief and factual answer. Just a thought :)

Or to re-phrase, people are prepared to give (possible) new owners a chance to be judged on their actions. Doesn't sound totally unreasonable does it? Oh and how can JE be "Teflon" if you hold him responsible for so much? Bit of a contradiction? :)
