OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

He did mention that Bloomfield was cut a great deal of slack while rebuilding because of him being a fans' favourite during his playing time with them. You think Doug will allow him that, after today? I don't!

Here. Not sure he could have got us promoted from L1 taking over with a few games left of a shockingly mismanaged season

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

If the press release is to be believed, they want a Head Coach reporting to the Performance Director, not a new manager. It might not be down to whoever that is to decide their backroom staff. If they can't work with Dr Roberts, they won't take the job.

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

I think that's a bit of a sweeping statement. He may need to drop to L1 (Wycombe??) but he will be back. Especially if he can team up with Viveash again!

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

I think Robins has had less and less influence over how the team plays and how the players perform, but we haven't been good enough since the semi-final and most clubs would have got rid before now.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Nice to see he is already being congratulated by Victor Orban and Benjamin Netanyahu - hardly a ringing endorsement, in my book!

BBC Sport only ever refers to them as plain Washington. Don't know why they don't recognise the Commanders name?

Eagles are starting to gel, with Hurts finding his runners, but they will get spanked if they come up against a team with a powerful passing game. I think it will be Eagles - Lions in the NFC Champ game. Obviously Chiefs will be favourites for the AFC, but who they go up against is quite open...

I reckon Jared Goff for the Lions is the best QB in the league at the moment. His fake plays are a thing to behold - the defensive lines (even the Packers) are chasing shadows as they don't know who is going to actually carry the ball. Mahomes definitely struggling on his left ankle, and getting...

Similar to the Eagles - only managed to beat a 2-7 team by a handful of points! Head to head a week on Friday. If you have a decent passing game, you could do well against a weak Eagles secondary, but Hurts is hitting his stride with Barkley, Brown and Smith on form. Detroit look the team to...

    Things that annoy you

This appears to be a UK problem. We go to France reasonably regularly, and when we eat out, we are frequently in the company of families with kids, even pre-school age, who sit up to the table, eat the same food as their parents (not some shit with chips and beans), and join in the conversation...
