    Good news for Cov?

If we get the funding and backing for the battery factory then that could be huge IMO. Potentially 4K new jobs, would attract a lot of new talent to the area, tie in nicely with the automotive industry and link in very well with the local universities. However, true Cov style an idea to fill...

    Running

Was at my thinnest and fittest when I started to do a bit of running so going to try and get back into it as the timbers piled back on over lockdown and especially over the last 6 weeks when the dog is suffering serious anxiety so refusing to go on walks. Started my first run of couch to 5k...

    Josh Warrington

The shoulder thing was weird, as although he wasn’t throwing anywhere near as many punches as he normally does he didn’t seem to be in pain with it when he was throwing shots. It seemed that at the end of every round Warrington was touching gloves with Lara or almost congratulating him. Very...

    Zooming with Jordan Clarke

I think there’s two things I remember about him playing for us, obviously the chant, and the second is I’m sure he scored a beauty of a chipped goal.

    Zooming with Jordan Clarke

In all fairness this is directed towards the kids who attend Soccer Rocks (and their parents) rather than being targeted towards all city fans. Personally think it’s a great initiative by them to carry on keeping the kids engaged. One of the head coaches was on the books at Cov for a few years...

    Football is back!!!! Premier League

He’s scored 12 goals in a newly promoted side who haven’t been in the top flight for over 15 years. I’d say ‘tad overrated’ is extremely harsh!

    Article on town centre development

With the death of the city centre seemingly in full flow UK wide and the flagship shop of Cov shut down. Thoughts on this? https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/new-owners-west-orchards-after-19780395

    Gambling and lockdown

You in the 1900’s? Fair play. Through study? Practice? Guessing both! I just play for fun and have never studied openings, read any books etc but managed to drag myself up to the high 1500’s but with a nose bleed. Count me in for a game! 👍

One of my team got notification today that he should hear about his vaccine date in the next 1-2 weeks. He has only just turned 30 but does have underlying health issues. He was very surprised and didn’t think he would hear anything until around April.
