We always seemed to make hard work of playing struggling teams in the past, it would be great to beat that demon.

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

Someone on here has they posted about it - might be worth doing a search, I think they met her at Ryton.

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

He's gone up in my estimation a lot, but I also realise that he might not get Mr Labovitch back on if he does a Paxo and keeps with the same question until he receives an answer.

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

Thanks for the summary I'll have to "listen again" at some point tonight to hear the whole thing.

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

He obviously wanted to raise a fair few points and therefore wasn't able to keep pressing for an answer when he didn't get one, but from what I heard* he didn't do too badly. *and I came in about two thirds of the way through I think

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

Okay so basically on the back of that interview if we don't get planning permission for the new stadium we're screwed. If he can't answer that (and you'd like to think they've considered that possibility*) then you do have to wonder what the hell we're going to do if we don't get it. This...

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

Seriously though what does he do for the club other than be the media spokesman, which is a function Tim could do (and was funnier too). Could we not save ourselves a quid or two (like we obviously need to) and get rid of him as I don't understand his role in all this.

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

He said he's a director but he doesn't work for the owners? I thought that was who directors did work for, they represent the shareholders aka the owners at the company or club in our case. Very odd.

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

he didn't answer the question about what happens if we don't get planning permission. Waffled on about Brighton but never answered the question.

New stadium press release from Sisu?

    A Question for The Accountants

I switched accountants about five years ago when I was introduced by a friend to his own one. This one is much more clued up, actually explains things and asks if I incurred expenses on things or whether things I paid out for last year at the flat, I've paid again this year. I read in the paper...

    A Question for The Accountants

With regards to accounting, balance sheets might as well be written in German because I understand so little about each. What OSB58 does is translate the figures into something that I can understand, makes observations and asks questions about the data that I wouldn't spot/know to ask. He's an...

    A Question for The Accountants

You could say the same thing about the move to Sixfields, the new stadium, or getting involved with us in the first place.

Equally they may want to keep the evidence between themselves until it can be presented in court.

    A Question for The Accountants

I agree that they haven't confirmed or denied it, so at the moment we only have the statements from one side namely Sisu. The council haven't made comments on anything that may come up in the JR, I suspect on the advice of lawyers. Did you know that the maximum you can go to jail for if a...

    A Question for The Accountants

We actually don't know if the council haven't denied this because they are saying nothing before the judicial review on the advice of their lawyers. It may well be that everything Tim and Mr Labovitch say is true and that's why it hasn't been denied - we don't know and therefore probably...

    A Question for The Accountants

I have made the point that the Higgs and the council are shareholders and they have equal representation on the ACL board and therefore the independent director(s) hold the deciding vote in the case of deadlock. Now you mentioned the CVA and I would guess that a vote was taken regarding whether...

    A Question for The Accountants

I'd never say that they were totally independent as the council are owners of a company that owns shares in ACL. However as shareholders they can only (as I understsnd it) vote for who they want to sit on the board and they don't have a say in the day to day running of ACL. It is the hired help...

Sky Blue Sports & Leisure 2013 accounts

Could ACL afford to offer a lower rent at the beginning though as they were just starting out in the world of business? Now that they can and are offering much better deals our club doesn't want to know and tout the new stadium as our salvation. Given we don't know what the sliding deal scale...
