    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

I haven't seen it before but apparently the Higgs have a website now http://www.higgscharity.org.uk/ still grateful to them for building our Cat 2 Academy facilities.

Sounds like he can play so hopefully will make a positive impact on the pitch.

    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

Sir Higgs and his dad (who left his money to set up the charity and is named after him) were I suspect ;), his son posted on here once as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Higgs

    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

You could be right although I'd probably say "forcing children to watch CCFC (especially in Northampton) is the very antithesis of child welfare!" ;)

    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

Okay so the objectives of the charity are: A. Such charitable purposes as the trustees may select which shall benefit wholly or mainly the inhabitants of the area within 25miles of the centre of Coventry. B. The charity fund shall be applied as far as is practicable in the promotion of...

    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

I looked Sisu up on google translate which now has a dictionary feature and it said: in Bosnian/Croation - Tit In Esperanto - Content In Finnish - Go or (rather bizarrely) Spunk In Maori - Jesus In Swedish - Perseverance

    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

!Question, if Sisu are claiming that the Higgs were conspiring with the council against Sisu - if Sisu were to lose does that affect the JR? Or is the council 'cheating' Sisu out of ACL by buying the mortgage not covered by the JR and it is just related to the fact that the council bought the...

    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

It's not just dedicated to disavantaged children though is it, it's something like to benefit the people of Coventry and the environs. Now obviously that will include the disadvantaged children but it isn't limited to them and could include our club. The Higgs (family not the charity) were...

I think my lottery numbers have more chance tomorrow night. Thanks for the update though.

    Geoff Foster

Nice idea but as RFC said, it won't happen whilst NOPM is in operation by Sisu. Why would Sisu break that and hand money over to ACL, or put their former paying customers (us lot) in a position where we might be tempted to, when all their efforts so far have been designed to prevent this.

Would Gordon Strachan have won us promotion?

I liked the fact that as he was still registered as a player he could name himself as a sub and then run up and down the touchline shouting instructions at players. Then there was the one ref who hadn't clocked he was on the teamsheet twice and just told him to go and sit down despite...

Would Gordon Strachan have won us promotion?

I seem to remember Geoffrey Robinson being Interviewed on CWR breakfast show years ago and saying that they should have sacked the Chairman (BR so may have been just after his removal) and not the manager.

    Seasons End

I was thinking more in terms of loading the costs onto our club if they don't win.
