    Realistic signings

Possibly and they might not cost transfer fees which might give scope to pay higher wages to the right type of player

    Realistic signings

I think in terms of recruiting we are at an early stage Robins has said he is waiting for the championship to finish and that happened last night except for the play-offs I would think in the next fortnight or so things will happen and we have until October before the transfer window shuts.

Yes could well do, there’s a snippet of him on YouTube and he looks a really good lad for his age. No chance of getting him on a permanent but a there will be a biggish first team re-build at Arsenal so it might be a year early for him there, he’s certainly too good for U23s, worth a try.

    Realistic signings

He is on loan at Huddersfield so unless Arsenal move him into their first team squad he could well go out on loan somewhere again.

Wigan sold a player today apparently He might want it but won’t get it be lucky to get half, very lucky. Financially Hull are one of the clubs stuffed with a lot of their players on big contracts and they ain’t on their own.

    Wigan down, Forest blow it....

Someone was talking about Stoke on talksport today apparently now some loaned out players have come back they have 31 first team players and stuck with most on Premiership contracts with a year or more to run, crazy.

    Wigan down, Forest blow it....

And Luton have only lost twice in 15 to survive, since their manager came in...the one Stoke got rid of...football really is a funny old game.

We have a low budget possibly the lowest but at least we have one there will be a number of championship clubs with no budget. Talking Blackburn as an example how and where would their budget be many times higher than ours, Ewood Park isn’t exactly over flowing is it. They get by by spending...

Do Perhaps but if Blackburn go into administration ( bit of a rumour) and possible wage caps that could be become a different ball game, I doubt very much Travis will come here, just a rumour, but remember we are now a championship club so as attractive as any, certainly as attractive as...

    Fans allowed in? - Updated!

Going to depend where we are playing, I think using the four blocks carefully at the Ricoh fifty percent capacity could be okay, not so sure about St Andrews 5000 in the Kop stand there isn’t a lot of social distancing possible I suppose there’s the Tilton Road end but it would still be quiet...

    Cwr

I don’t believe the club can survive 5 years out of Coventry and there’s no guarantee EFL will allow it or Birmingham City. I try to be positive, there’s the land there’s a good potential partnership with WU but when I look at planning, the logistics, getting too and from having to build roads...

Under normal circumstances I’d agree but talk is Blackburn are in a financial pickle, that’s come from a relative up there, a Burnley fan so it could be wishful thinking I suppose.

Perhaps could do with Luton getting relegated tonight but they are home to Blackburn who have nothing to play fore while Charlton are at Leeds of all places, then there’s the Wigan factor. Interesting side issue With Luton playing Blackburn two recently linked players Vickers and Travis could be...

New Stadium - The pessimist's view...

The claim by some the Ricoh is soulless need to look at the reasons since moving there we declined all the way to the fourth division I can count on one hand “big” games the play off semi v Wycombe, the Chelsea cup tie the Colchester Ricoh return the will be other one offs but I I’m struggling...

New signing incoming - Ryan Giles on loan

The reason he didn’t get in the side was simple Robins wasn’t prepared to change a winning team and a defence not letting goals in but despite that he has decided to come back for another year and MR wanted him back, good signing and not a huge if any dent on our budget, happy days all round.

Luton form certainly improved since January, looked down and out but have a good chance of survival now. Looks like he couldvhave made a difference to them.

At 22 and a year left on his contract I assume his next move will be a view to be permanent Jose will be recruiting like billy ho this summer, there could be a few decent young players up for grabs at Spurs in this transfer window.

When did his loan at Luton start he has played 13. There form had picked up since January. He has played 55 games in the last 2 years so on loan at Swansea and Stoke so has plenty of championship experience.
