Minority of Our Fans Today

The old broken home story is a classic example of someone not taking responsibility for their actions. The same way that teenage arsonists blame their actions on boredom.

    Minority of Our Fans Today

I'm really struggling to think of any of our songs that have swear words in them. Maybe someone called him a sponge or a muppet.

We have the Eaton Boating Song, you have Chas & Dave. Says it all really.

Be interesting to know if they were season ticket holders.

    Preston at home.

    We're talking about the JPT

    Preston at home.

Don't disagree with that, which is why they get bigger league gates. My point was just that "facts" about ours and other clubs support are stated as true on here when they clearly are not.

Football Focus- Lawro and Cov game review

    Slightly slanderous comment.

    Preston at home.

Leicester had 8k at their sole JPT game. Forest have had 3 home games in the JPT, they got 4k, 2k, 3k. Neither of them got near the size of the crowd we got against Sheff Utd, Forest couldnt even match ours against Burton.

    Preston at home.

They haven't sold 3k, they've been allocated it. PNE asked for 3k on the basis the tickets were cheap. Guy from the ticket office said televised games affect the away numbers more than the home numbers so I would imagine Preston bringing a similer crowd as Sheff Utd.

The Senior Generation of Sky Blue Fans

1961-62 season Jimmy Hill took over and we were mid table Div 3, pretty much where we are now. That season the average crowd was 10,256 (about 1k lower than we get now), due to the success & excitement JH brought the figure had jumped to 34,705 by 1967-68. The ability to bring in an extra 24k...

City to be billed for toilet damage

Probably some 15 year old chavs who now think their hard because they've smashed up a toilet. No doubt the police were busy taking pictures of a well behaved crowd in the stand whilst this was going on.

City to be billed for toilet damage

    Only seems fair to me

I'd never want to get back to the Premiership...

The problem with football is it preys on the loyalty of its supporters. The free market dictates the prices of everything, except sports tickets. Unless people stop going then prices will remain high. I hate it when top clubs use the excuse of "if we want the best players in England then...

Must be those 600 bandwagon jumpers.

    Which would you prefer ?

It would have been better in the sense that relegation was coming anyway. Had it happened then we would be 5 years nearer to sorting this mess out.

    David McGoldrick off to Ipswich

My guess Ipswich are paying a higher % of his wages to forest.

    Which would you prefer ?

Which with hindsight would have been better, as we went down anyway.
