I'm surprised by how quick block 10 has sold. I thought by now the rate at which they were being sold would have slowed down, but if anything its speeding up.

I can give them a solution right now. Re-issue all Crewe tickets as unreserved seating, shove them into blocks 6 & 7, get ACL to ring a roller door installer and put a divide in under blocks 7 & 8. Problem solved.

Crewe match. Anyone else got tickets but not going ?

If this was a normal league game then I wouldn't be bothered. Its the fact that their denying other people from going that annoys me.

<p> In terms of the game your right that the rest of the ground will be making the atmosphere. However it would have been nice to break Southamptons record attendance. Also it raises serious questions about the location of away fans. If the away area is so inflexible then it needs to be moved.

Why did they not give Crewe half of 10, 11 & 12? The turnstiles & understand segregation is all set up for that.

    Highfield Road or Ricoh?

I wonder if 110 years ago city fans were harping on about how great the old Stoke Row ground was & how the new Highfield Rd ground has no soul?

As it stands the areas on this picture between the yellow lines are for Crewe. Theres no way they will fill that and unless we fill some of it then it will be a 28k max crowd.

Doesn't necessarily mean half of block 10 is for segregation, could be that the other half is allocated to Crewe. The Stairwell on the other side of block 10 will be for the Crewe fans only, and there are safety rules as to how far you can be from a stairwell.

Renaming a Stand at the Ricoh

As bad as this sounds, I think once either Jimmy Hill or John Sillett fall off their perch, a stand will be named after one of them.

Only single seats left now. So unless more blocks are opened up is now pretty much sold out.

Longfud or Long-ford? Until a few years ago I only ever heard it pronounced Longfud, now I keep heaing it pronounced Long-ford in King Henry VIII educated accents.

    Highfield Road or Ricoh?

In fairness, in the final years at HR we had a stands named after a local tyre fitters, a brewery, a house building company, and a local drill company.

Crewe will be in block 9, hopefully the club can find a way to get some of our fans into blocks 6 & 7.

Seats left to buy against crewe

On the Crewe forum someone on there is saying they have tickets for block 9, so unless we move them I dont think we're going to get that block.
