Apart from Hyam and Jones, Westbrooke is the only one I would offer another contract. There will plenty of better players available to replace the others. I'm glad that we got Hyam tied up early which is something we've often failed to do in the past.

I didn't see us losing another game either. I guess if we had wrapped up the title early there is a chance we might have taken our foot off the gas in any 'dead' games after, but if we carried on playing like we were no other team in this league could match us.

With players like McAllister, Ndlovu, Whelan, Huckerby, Dublin and even Jess playing I'm not sure we should really have been in a position to go down. I guess it was our poor defence which counter balanced that attacking talent.

I'm slightly suspicious of the Dresden outbreak too. As the team bottom of Bundesliga 2, they are probably hoping for a no relegation scenario, so putting a spanner in the works of restarting appears to work to their favour.
