That would suggest they either had an absolutely ridiculous team in League One or that they’re quite undercooked for this Prem season.

Agreed. It shows what you can do when you have a good manager who knows how to get the best out the players. Bielsa also got Leeds up with a very average side who mainly got found out when he left/they moved elsewhere.

Ipswich’s team looks awful for the level on paper. How can you be a Premier League team brining Harness, Al Hamadi and Taylor off the bench?

Yesterday was his best performance for us. Absolutely unreal.

This sounds very similar to a lot of the posts on here when we first got promoted. I remember playing teams like Stoke and Bristol City, looking at how much they’d spent on players and thinking how are we supposed to compete. And that’s not even taking into account the parachute clubs who still...

Seems like they’ve decided to enforce the ‘proper amount of injury time’ thing from the start of last season again. Can’t wait for April when they’ve abandoned it and we’re drawing a crucial game with only 3 mins added on.

Mental that people were talking about Wright being a bench player behind Mason-Clarke before the season started 😂

I thought all the attacking subs were poor today tbh.

Not when people have already made their minds up about either of them and are attributing every misplaced pass made by of them to just one of them!

One of them needs to change their number. Having them be 28 and 29 isn’t helping matters!

I have a theory that Eccles and Torp are so hard to tell apart that they often get blamed for things the other one did and it in turn makes their ratings a bit of a mess.

Taken over 50 minutes from getting back to the car to getting to Earlsdon. Would usually take us about 30, if that. Cba.

Oxford look decent tbf to them. Passing it around nicely and playing out of the press pretty effectively.

Enjoy that first half for the most part, we’re playing pretty well. Wright and Saka have been constant dangers, although Simms looks a little off it. Rudoni immense and Torp looking a lot better with Rudoni alongside him. Hope we don’t regret not going two goals up when we were well on top.
