greg clarke interveiw on cwr after 7 this morning

We don't know their reasons with any certainty. I've wondered if they might have rejected it to keep open the possibility of an action against CCFC Holdings/Otium, on the grounds that Ltd and Holdings were effectively one and the same (TF's "the accounts are a bit of a mess etc).

It's not working - after one home game?

That would vary from person to person. I'd guess that most people would go back to watching City, probably joining in with any "We want SISU out" chants. However, what seems clear is that SISU's "customer relations" will be gradually moving people from the former camp to the latter

How do we know that? SISU will lose a fortune by playing at Sixfields (8k fans per game lost?) - they could have made an offer to ACL that would leave them (SISU) much better off, compensate ACL for the shorter lease and stop alienating their customer base. Has that offer been made?

4 tickets bought in block 23. Not many left there, but plenty in block 24.

So if sisu have the money

If that is an accurate quote, it raises some interesting (well to me anyway) questions. We are currently in our third annual transfer embargo. Each embargo was imposed by the Football League because we were late in filing our accounts. The Football League is hoping to sort out its clubs'...

So if sisu have the money

I think you're confusing Football League excuses with reality.

Surprised that no one has mentioned the other related news story - about the 6 million jellyfish that have launched a class action for slander after they heard someone describe the Football League as "spineless".

Steven Pressley furious at suggestion Coventry City are trying to sell Leon Clarke

I did get that - it was an attempt at subtle humour, sort of deliberate misunderstanding type of thing... (Obviously a failed attempt.......watches tumbleweed dift slowly by........)

Steven Pressley furious at suggestion Coventry City are trying to sell Leon Clarke

Pressley insisted: “That’s absolute nonsense - nothing could be further from the truth and for them to be talking that way about a player contracted to another club is inexcusable.” “That type of speculation infuriates me because it can destabilise a player and we’ve contacted Scunthorpe to say...

    Shrewsbury Away

True, but that was in reference to my previous location of "Block 31" (although to be clear, I was only there for home games, didn't have a sleeping bag - honest).

Breaking news - league letter to Ainsworth

The way that I was looking at it was that we had circa 10k home supporters last season. The 8-10% that I mentioned earlier would suggest something around a thousand attending Sixfields - which seems to be in the correct ballpark. Not sure of the relevance of the Ricoh attendance on Sunday as I...

Breaking news - league letter to Ainsworth

Agree with all of that. However somewhat surprisingly (to me at any rate) the poll on this site about going (or not going) to Sixfields seems to have been a pretty good indicator. As I recall, it was always running at about 8 to 10% who said that they would go. Given the home attendance last...

Breaking news - league letter to Ainsworth

That's just how I always think of you :) Re the "blame game", the rules have changed for me - I'd agree that there are many people who've been involved to a greater or lesser degree in bringing the club to where it was at the start of this year. However, I believe that what has happened...

Breaking news - league letter to Ainsworth

Where to start with that..... As NW has often pointed out, the issue is brooking no dissent from each poster's view. Your view (at least as implied here) is in the minority, but you have no problem in expressing it and, one might say, in brooking no dissent from it. I've always believed...

But then neither does being in the minority...... And if you want to take to your argument a little further, presumably you won't be a great believer in democracy.

I had a FL response too...

To quote The Life of Brian - "Oooh, he's making it up as he goes along" But obviously, only so far as the FL roles give "him" discretion so to do.........

    Club debt

I assumed it must be random as I didn't think anyone would be so childish as to do it deliberately :)
