    Telegraph at it again

Here's an idea. Rather than getting yourself outraged by the click bait headlines, why not just ignore them, and stay off the site completely. The Telegraph serves little purpose these days and belongs to a bygone age. Just ignore it and help let it wither and die, instead of reading 'non'...

    Left back

I would rather see the young lad, Newton get a shot at playing ahead of the likes of Fox or Giles, but happy to trust in MR to make the right call.

Why does it take so long

Selling Bellingham should buy off the prospect of administration for a while at least.

    Roger van gool

He actually played quite well in this Leicester game, which is probably the only one he played for us which was televised.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

Villa fan I know says he has heard that his agent has negotiated a deal for O'Hare to play in Holland next season, and is waiting on a final decision from O'Hare to seal the deal.

    Ironies

While accepting the EFL are a flawed organisation, I do have some sympathy with them dealing with the 'fit and proper' ownership conundrum. I imagine a lot of financial documentation has to be taken at face value, particularly from abroad, with much of the information nigh on impossible to...

    Following on

Let our opposition in the Championship waste their money on old names we've all heard of, but with no resale value. I'd much rather we stick with bringing in younger, hungrier players most of us won't yet have heard of. I do however appreciate it doesn't make this kind of thread much fun, where...

The worse thing about next season-

The Championship is a whole different ball game than League 1. From what I've seen we are far better suited to the football needed there than Rotherham. Yes they have more experience, but that experience involves struggling and getting relegated. They are a team full of giants, who like to use...

    Realistic signings

He's been their best player by a country mile. £3m for Curtis doesn't seem ridiculous to me. If they did sell him I don't think they would get far off that figure.

The worse thing about next season-

I've watched a few Championship games since the resumption to get an idea of what to expect next season. Before this I was of the view that finishing 21st in our first season back would be a success. However given that we ought to comfortably be better than Rotherham and Oxford/ Wycombe that...

    Sick of the Telegraph

Froggatt played left midfield for us. There was talk about him playing a wing back roll, but I can't recall any game where he actually played it for us. Not sure if he ever played there for Villa or Wolves before he joined us though.

    Ex Player Watch

One of my best friends is a Notts County fan. Say's Turner is a class above their level, but unfortunately still injury prone. Shame for him but that is not going to change at this point in his career, so I wouldn't expect him to play higher than League 2 from hereon.

Over The Hill XI-Take No Arjan's!

I can't remember exactly - but I bet when we first signed Yakubu there would have been a few on here convinced that he would fire us to safety :)

    Jude Bellingham

Not disputing he is clearly a tremendous prospect, but you really are exaggerating the point to say he has run riot in the Championship this season. Mind you those 4 goals he has scored could be what keeps Birmingham up this season.

Over The Hill XI-Take No Arjan's!

Roger Van Gool would be a good for for the right wing slot. Tore Forest apart in the European Cup at the City Ground, but then did nothing for us.

    The new flag designs...

Quite disappointing that these are the 3 options. I thought previously that the 2 Tone link was an excellent idea, and I also liked the Mount Rushmore flag linking Robins to Hill, Curtis & Sillett. Therefore none of the above for me too - you may as well just do whatever you want to do to be honest.

Over The Hill XI-Take No Arjan's!

Was Henderson ever really that good though! His best was nowhere near that of Bob Latchford or Dean Holdsworth.

    GMK

Been doing some digging and it looks like SkyBlueUltra was on West Terrace messageboard. Didn't go on there myself, but I was aware of his work through the rivals network, and this particular match preview when we played Portsmouth some time back: I licks Pumpy fans. At thirst i thinkings them...

Over The Hill XI-Take No Arjan's!

Peter Ramage started out as a right back I believe. Andy Impey could fit in there too. Goram seems a bit harsh, I don't recall him being that bad. For those with long memories Raddy Avramovic must be worth a shout. Would probably get in any Notts County all time XI, but wasn't quite so good for...

Players you didn't like till they signed for CCFC

Going way back Terry Yorath joined from 'Dirty' Leeds who everyone hated, but he was a top signing.
