In much the same way I don't believe Mr Labovitch is helping get us back to Coventry with his PR effort and comments on the radio/in the Telegraph. Again this is just my personal opinion.
His Mrs was there and we had been playing Wii Sports after the pub and Mr "Expert at this" either needs more practice, especially at the bowling or less alcohol but either way he came third in most things. Wouldn't like to meet his wife with a real baseball bat as she can really swing the...
Quite right, if ACL fails and they lose all the money they invested then that's their bad luck - same goes for CCFC failing and SISU & their investors losing all their money - although obviously that's not necessarily great for our club.
In the same way if there comes a time where ACL make...
Yeah I can see that as a distinctly possible reason, it's more likely than Sisu just guessing that the YB would roll over easily when they came knocking. Sorry for the tardy reply but I had a few issues with my phone one of them being I left it with a mate accidentally down the back of his sofa.
I'm assuming you mean the Isle of Capri and I'm also assuming you don't know the reasons why they left. After a couple of devastating hurricanes had seriously damaged their businesses (both financially and physically) in the US they decided to essentially retreat from operating casinos...
My only problem with Mr Labovitch not being able to answer questions about the accounts is that (as I understand it) as a director of the company he would legally have had to sign off on the accounts. If it was me I'd want to know what I was signing off on just in case. ;)
Having said that happy...
I remember someone saying that he fancied Villa more because he wouldn't have to move the kids out of school etc., but I never heard anything from him to back that rumour up. To be fair where would you rather live, Blackburn or Stratford?
From what I remember Dion had asked for more money and allegedly Villa were already a factor at that point. Didn't we eventually complain about tapping up of our players from local clubs? (And just to make it clear I am not suggesting Aston Villa were involved in tapping up - just in case the...
To be honest I've lost track of what the last offer was. Assuming it was the last one, did we ever find out the full details of what ACL offered through the Football League? Also how would that work with all the noises from Sisu/our club saying that they couldn't go back to renting from the council?
The Higgs don't take donations though they rely on the money old man Higgs left (mrs PWKH confirmed that last week) so they're unlikely to have supporters. As I said before they're obviously confident enough in ACL to hang on to their share rather than sell it to Sisu for the amounts offered...
I think I've followed and understood what you've been talking about but something is bugging me. Why did Sisu think that they would be able to get the mortgage cheaply when we now know that the council were told to do one when they came in with offers under £10-12m.
LOCOG couldn't get certain bands to do the olympics opening and closing ceremonies because they weren't touring, didn't feel like it etc. so I doubt ACL can persuade them to tour. Would have been nice to see someone there this summer though.
Yeah it was an offer but hadn't we reached the stage by then that Sisu had valued the Higgs share at £0.00. The judge even said
*who isn't a secretary as far as I know if the Sisu lawyers are reading this.
