Win promotion or the FA Cup ?

It means , for the first time in donkeys years we have some optimism, perhaps as yet unfounded, that we can compete in the world of football like everyone else. A few years ago I could see us dropping out of the football league . We might make the cup quarter or even semi final. We might make...

    Transfer Rumour Ellis Simms

Simms has shown more aggression in the tackle in the last couple of matches. Well taken goal against Plymouth. He's been imposing himself more and it's been a long time coming. Still not entirely convinced.

Win promotion or the FA Cup ?

We'd have an empty trophy cabinet and perhaps the best part of another 20 years fighting relegation as usual. Absolutely nothing to celebrate. I'd take an FA cup win if it meant another 5 years in the championship without hesitation.

Win promotion or the FA Cup ?

I think we still get a few more supporters going to watch us in the FA Cup because of 1987 even after all these years. Once you've won it , it's yours forever. No Burnley or Sheffield United fan will remember this season particularly.

Win promotion or the FA Cup ?

You wait until we get to the semi final.

Win promotion or the FA Cup ?

Spot on . Unfortunately I like the FA cup far too much !

Win promotion or the FA Cup ?

One is possible the other less so but if you could chose just one, which would it be ? For me it would be the FA Cup . Financially not worth as much but 1987 put us on the map and you are what you've won.

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

They could have picked a bigger game and opened half of that end as a trial. And I'm not talking Leeds etc but Preston is hardly going to test anything.

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

I think it'll lead to untold damage for Israel . I just don't know when or how but it will breed an unmeasurable hatred for generations . Quite frankly if this killing spree continues then they bring whatever comes their way on themselves in the long run. You reap what you sow.

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

It wouldn't be in Israel's interest to secure the freeing of all the remaining hostages too quickly if the real aim is to inflict as much destruction to Gaza and all Palestinians as possible. I wonder what will happen once all hostages are released as far as Israel's military campaign is concerned.

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

We did , certainly . What we didn't do was to raze entire cities to the ground and indiscriminately kill thousands of men, women and children . We'd be accused of attempting to wipe out the entire Catholic population of Northern Ireland, which was never going to happen . I wonder what...

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

It is genocide If the IRA had taken hostages during the troubles and the British govt had sanctioned the armed forces to raze, if necessary, all catholic areas of Belfast, Derry etc to the ground in the " process" of finding the hostages it would have been viewed as an attempt to wipe out the...

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

It is genocide . Growing up I learned about the holocaust and the way Jewish people were treated etc. I was always somewhat sympathetic to Israel ever since and although I never understood the middle east I empathised with Israel's obsession with a strong military, given the history of it's...

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

I was in the north stand. We could all hear them. Considering there were probably less than 1000 they made themselves heard. Couldn't care less what noise they make, the important thing is they made themselves heard.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 11th Feb

Yes. Refreshing to see a goal out of a couple of incisive passes roaring forward rather than the patient passing game that we've become accustomed to. Not knocking it , but that goal was something else .

They weren't rubbish compared to many other bigger away followings.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 11th Feb

Was this game sold out to home fans ? There were a lot of empty seats on the bend between east and north stand. Are people just not turning up having paid for tickets ?
