Shaw: I won't ditch the diamond

Shaw said that himself in the interview. It's down to the players to put the effort in to make the diamond work. We know it does work, its just how it's used by the players, which determines its effectiveness on the day. The comment he made about baker was good too. I doubt Thorn ever told...

Shaw: I won't ditch the diamond

You can say it Otis but people aren't going to want to hear it I'm afraid. I've thought about this and all I see is the fact we go on about experienced this experienced that but in 10 years what did all these experienced managers done for us? Nothing really. They talked the talk but...

    Our Blue Nose Friends

Meh they lost, idiots to the end lol You watch, next they'll be saying we were lucky and the cup run wasn't important etc. Or that they let us win...something to that degree!

    Bigi

I'm glad he's doing well. Genuinely nice lad with a big heart. Will be keeping my eyes on him over the next few years to see how he gets on!

    Thorn

    Good luck to him :)

    Richard Money

Fair play to him! More managers should be able to voice their views without fearing the sack. Some fans need a wake up call because I don't think any of us could do their job so we don't have a right to tell them how to do it.

Changed my mind give it to Richard

Not a bad idea at all but its all about the finances isn't it?

Changed my mind give it to Richard

I believe, regardless of his colour, that Shaw can become a successful manager. All managers need to start somewhere. Alex Ferguson for instance. Before he took the Manchester United position he managed: 1974: East Stirlingshire (Old Second Division) 1974 – 1978: St. Mirren (Old Second...

Me swim regular miles?? Too boring ;) I mean that i don't swim exactly 3 miles a week. I average about 3 miles a week but always end up doing more on a lot of occassions. And fernandopartridge, Skyblueguy has a very valid point. I've known bouncers who look 'fat' and have the stumachs to prove...

Changed my mind give it to Richard

I think people are forgetting some key facts here: 1 - Thorn had no coaching qualifications or experience when he took over at coventry. It was under the understanding that he would get his badges and improve not only the squad fans results but also himself as a manager. But as we know, in...

    Cyrus Christie

    Richard Wood

Yes...I am fat but far from unfit! Qualified lifeguard and I swim about 3 odd miles a week. Plus I like to walk most places and regularly walk from town back to where I life in willenhall. So yes I'm speaking from experience here when I say not all fat men are out of shape and unfit!

    Richard Wood

The size of him I think you'll find he could probably do a lot odd damage. And I don't think he's as unfit as people think he is. Just because your fat doesn't mean your unfit...

    Coventry v Birmingham matchday thread

There's always a few that aren't satisfied. Brown being slated here, someone on the Baker thread thinks baker apparently wasn't good enough in the 1st half even though he assisted for the 2nd goal, put in countless sliding tackles etc. Just feel like even when we get a good win, people still...
