Who does the best pies ???

Is this the 5 minute argument or the full half hour? (for the older members of the site......)

    Hoff on the Hill?

I'm afraid that mine has been waterlogged for some time :D

    Hoff on the Hill?

That is of course true. My point was that, in my view, these minutes are far from the "smoking gun" that some have suggested. As usual with CCFC, there are many unknowns!

    Hoff on the Hill?

Can I suggest a different perspective? For my sins, I've sat on various company Boards since 1985. Whilst all Boards are different, there are some things that are generally common. For example (generalising, I accept) there are 2 ways to present a proposal. The first (which I always favour...

    Hoff on the Hill?

People will have their own views. I know you have reservations. Personally I'd be delighted if he could find a way to help SISU depart with the club still intact. I appreciate that a lot of those type of posts are just people on the wind up, but every now and again you just think - grow up...

    Shrewsbury Sold Out Both Offices

Think it's pretty unlikely as they've been selling tickets in all the other stands to home fans, so can't see how they'd segregate another section.

    Hoff on the Hill?

Bored shitless of this! A few posts above, we have criticism about "free corporate tickets", now we have criticism about standing on the hill with the protesters. Presumably there'll be criticism if he attends away games ("attention seeker") and if he doesn't ("can't even be arsed to go"). Try...

    Saturday's Game

It has to be better than the game there last year!

    MMMmmm

That one may still be running. If ACL were intending to accept the situation, it would have made sense to accept the CVA as they'd then get more money. So, it seems probable that they're not accepting the situation. I guess that rejecting the CVA leaves them the option of taking an action...

    Shrewsbury

I've seen it variously reported as 1,600 and 1,800.

    away tickets

I'm pretty sure that it'll be the maximum allocation as it's the whole of one end of the stadium.

    away tickets

I think that you'll find that was nothing to do with CCFC or SISU. I believe that it was run by the Former Players Association. As for Shrewsbury, the away tickets sold by Shrewsbury were sold out last week. There was some comment on here that the blocks being sold by CCFC were also sold out...

how long do you think ccfc will be financially viable for otium/sisu?

Morning - as usual we partly agree and partly disagree :D Completely agree about the need for the club to live within its means, though (going over old ground) I thought that the way KD attempted to acieve this was brainless at best - let's cut the wage bill to such an extent that relegation is...

    Weak Minded Fans...

I really don't think that that will come as a surprise to anyone. Look back to when Mr Fisher announced the plan to move to Northampton and most of the comment was about what a crazy business decision it was.

how long do you think ccfc will be financially viable for otium/sisu?

I agree with that. However that leads me to conclude that SISU must hope/plan to get a "normal" (i.e. not ethically dubious and borderline) return from the business. That in turn leads me to believe that NOPM will be an effective lever in, at least, making them reconsider their strategy.

    away tickets

Another acceptance that NOPM is working well :)

I believe that you are quite correct that the penalty for non-compliance with FFP is a transfer embargo. As a deterrent it certainly worked well in ensuring that we always filed our accounts on time didn't it :)
