    NOPM and Away games

Just to freshen things up, couldn't we have: I take it none of you will be going to Anfield when we draw them in the FA Cup? or even I take it none of you will be going to Stamford Bridge when we draw them in the FA Cup? It'd just make it a bit less repetitive.

I know that you're making an entirely different point, but given our current plight it just looks odd to be talking about our "home" gates as "only averaging 17.2k".

    NOPM and Away games

I'm tempted to say "Breaking news" - though I'll avoid the capital letters and irritating overuse of exclamation marks. I'll settle for correcting your maths and pointing out that it's actually 100p more than NOPM.

Academy in talks to return to Higgs

Whatever the background to the talks, it would be very good news if they succeed.

    I'd prefer the latter :)

To be honest Nick, I think that if we get good offers, then players are going to leave - irrespective of being in Northampton and irrespective of NOPM. It's one thing that I haven't criticised SISU for because it's always been the way of things and probably always will - on a similar thread, I...

You'll recall that at the forums, TF said that they wouldn't sell because "you don't sell at the bottom of the business cycle". Since then, they've lost 80% to 90% of last year's customer base. If, as you suggest, they then sell the better players (as they're the ones that people will want to...

Now they want Clarke as well!

Now we all know that, but TF either doesn't know that or pretends that he doesn't know that.

Now they want Clarke as well!

    He won't go for free as he's under 24 - unless he's sold to a non-English club.

Well, that may be your view. Personally, I'm not sure what the characteristics of "your average suit" are. I'll leave that to your greater insight.

    Deadline Day

To be honest, I thought that the supporters were very positive at Shrewsbury. I expect that to be just the same at Port Vale.

I think it's pretty standard for Directors to have lunch with the Directors of their opponents before the game and then to sit together during the match. But then you knew that, didn't you :)

Funny how we all see things differently. I had Thomas as my MoM yesterday - frequently won possession for us and I can't remember him giving the ball away all through the game. I'd agree that he didn't do much that was "spectacular" but, for me, he was holding our midfield together.

Football League Show - feature piece

Hopefully it might make some people based in London consider their plan.

Football League Show - feature piece

Have to agree - all the comments I've got have been along the lines of "I can't believe that this has been allowed to happen".

An extra 1,000 fans paying, say, £20 a head.... Hope we're not expecting any big fees :)

If Sky Blues want a show of force it has to be Vale

If early ticket sales go well the allocation will be increased. Football clubs are very focused on their revenues - well, except one......
