Too young to see Villa as rivals personally, don’t think we’ve played them at all since I was about 4. Emery is a ridiculously good manager. Seems crazy that it didn’t really work out for him at Arsenal.

Well, that was certainly a lot more enjoyable. Thought Blackburn played right into our hands, perfect team for us to play against. Wright looked a different player to Swansea, really impressed with BTA and the midfield was top class.

Finding EMC a bit confusing, isn’t he right footed? Not sure why he’s playing so far inside. Not playing badly by any means but means that MvE is isolated again on the right both going forward and defensively.

Much better than previous games. Center backs are scaring the life out of me, they look like they don’t talk to each other at all. Wright much better, despite the people sitting behind me who’ve been shouting about how lazy he is all half.
