Another interesting tidbit... I'm sure we all remember the Andy Goode PR overdrive about how successful Wasps are financially etc. & the arguments with our fans against Sisu etc. He's subsequently deleted it all.

He's still writing about Wasps too, just no mention of any of the financial issues... Strange. Almost like it's being deliberately avoided...

What players like McBurnie, Brewster etc. went for in the past isn't really relevant imo. Championship clubs simply don't spend those kind of fees nowadays so it would have to be a Premier League move & I'm not sure he's quite there yet. Clubs at that level would want to see more evidence that...

Frees in terms of fees yeah but reasonable wage & long contracts. I agree though, the players are obviously buying into the project there. Imo Naismith is a top Championship player & Wilson has potential to be the same. Thought he might have followed Rob Edwards to Watford in truth.

Making some big moves already, Kal Naismith & Mark Sykes won't have been short of options either. I wonder if Lansdown is pushing the boat out for a big push. Not sure Pearson can deliver it personally but time will tell.
