    Don't you mean 20 managers?

Anyone just see the Kasami goal?

It was the cup game. "10 men, we've only got 10 men..." His New Year's Day goal against Southampton was pretty good too.

    A Sustainable Club?

There will always be some fans who want to spend spend spend.... However, I think that given our recent history, there's been an increasing number who have realised that this was unlikely to lead to a good outcome. Personally my issue in more recent times (more specifically the reign of the...

Anyone just see the Kasami goal?

Good goal. Nearly as good as Noël Whelan's on the same ground (from a similar angle at the same end actually :) )

    A Reasonable Proposal?

Or vice versa, depending on who the poster is.

    A Reasonable Proposal?

Odd then that SISU seem keen on building a stadium for £25m that would be less than half the size.

    Aaron Phillips

Willis has defended very well, but doesn't contribute so much going forward. I would have said the opposite for Phillips, but in his last two cameos he's made some excellent tackles. Perhaps SP gives Willis the nod because he's stronger in the air - and we're a bit lacking in that department.

In it for the long term?

I don't think there's any dispute that stadium ownership would increase the value of the club - the question is, by how much? Or to be precise, would building a 12k to 18 k (I've lost track of what the current plan is) stadium for £20m to £25m, increase the value of the club by substantially...

In it for the long term?

Or another view is that perhaps despite the frequent statements that SISU will not sell, they may understand that the value of the club would be substantially reduced if the academy was closed. Maybe keeping options open?

    Annoyance is Growing

Can't disagree with any of that. Except I'm not sure I remember any such posts from Lord S :)

    Annoyance is Growing

I think that's actually why I'm more optimistic on this point than I'd otherwise be. Under SISU's ownership the FL have interpreted their rules to meet SISU's requirements, beyond what many (well, me anyway!) would consider to be reasonable. If NOPM leads SISU to choose the liquidation...

    Annoyance is Growing

I think I'd characterise it as our "unlucky strike" :) Perhaps I'm just being an optimist on this point, but after their behaviour of the last six months, I really struggle to see the FL going for the "bye bye" option.

    Annoyance is Growing

There is no doubt that SISU have a reputation for "playing hardball". It seems pretty clear that they are happy with this image and I can see an argument that they would turn their back on some potential money for a sale in order to preserve and indeed "improve" that image. However, I believe...

    Annoyance is Growing

I think that you overstate the certainty of your logic. I believe that the logical position is that if SISU are starved of cash they will eventually look to sell the club (i.e. will reluctantly take what the rest of the world would view as a reasonable price) rather than walking away with...

    Phillips Goal

Just saw it on iPlayer - excellent finish. We were right down by the South Bank and from there it looked like it had been much closer in (plus I thought Baker had scored it!).

    The Twist and Shout Fanzine?

It may be time making things seem better, but I do seem to recall that the West Ender tended to have more "considered" articles. I reckon I must still have a few copies somewhere in the loft. Must have a look one of theses days......

    Want To Worry SISU

I guess that the issue for them should be whether they're putting good money after bad. They could well get lucky and fund the next few years by selling a couple of the promising youngsters, but they seem to be talking about £20m - £25m for a relatively small stadium. Does it seem...

    Wolves Match Thread

My second game of the season (after Shrewsbury) and, for me, Connor Thomas was MoM both times. Roll on Walsall.

    Want To Worry SISU

But to get to that position, they'd have to support the losses until a new ground is ready and then fund the new ground - on top of their existing investment.
