I really rate him, he looked good technically, was strong and a confident forward runner - all great attributes for a WB, which is just one of his many positions I believe. He’s a unit too, which is always helpful in what can be a physical league. If he is going to be used sparingly like this...

Ridiculous missed penalties aside, another bizarre moment was the booking of Eccles. Apparently it was dissent but from what I could see all he basically did was tell the Watford player to get up. How is that dissent?! Although I appreciate I may have missed something?

Fair play to Eccles for still nagging the ref re the penalty. He may not be an absolute game changer but he doesn’t lack in passion. Draw is disappointing but in context of the first half it’s ok. Play offs still on.
