Listen To Me Just Hear Me Out

I think you're missing the point a bit. Winning and playing great football is the ultimate aim, but we'd all swap places with Wycombe right now wouldn't we? I doubt many of their fans are complaining about not being entertained. Winning is everything.

Listen To Me Just Hear Me Out

People are being balanced. Nobody is being hysterical. I think it's precisely because we can see that we are a good side that people are quite rightly asking questions. Some of the stats are startling and our form is poor right now. There is plenty of time to put this right, but you do feel this...

Listen To Me Just Hear Me Out

I think away from home it's a valid point. We went in at half time winning against Oxford, Sunderland, Peterborough and Shrewsbury and came away with 3 points from 12. We become very negative when we take the lead in a game.

And then we don't play on Boxing Day. A loss next week and we could feasibly be bottom half going to Wycombe. Next week so important.

Match Thread Shrewsbury Town vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 14th Dec

2 wins in 10, no away wins, no back to back wins all season, only won by more than a single goal once, lowest amount of goals scored in top 10. I've seen better stats. I'm not sure we're as good as people think or our league position suggests. Got what we deserved today.

This is the point. I understand some people will be gutted, but he was simply unelectable, as has been proven. Labour will regroup, elect a unifying leader and will come back I'm sure. They've lost the North and they've lost the centre ground, but moving to the centre doesn't mean they can't be...

Thing is the markets were predicting a Conservative majority right up until 9.59pm last time. A lot of this is based on private exit polls that could be way off.

Sudden spike in value of sterling, some suggestion exit poll data is leaking. On the spread markets predicted Tory seats going up* *I don't fully understand spread markets for the record.

Tbf, I was really responding to the comments before yours, fat fingers and half a bottle of plonk.

Are we really doing this, making sweeping assumptions about the political allegiances of inconsiderate drivers? Wow.

Eh? I'm not sure what you mean. We were just talking about electoral fraud and this was just thrown out there to show how easy it is to subvert our system if you have a rubber, or someone else's polling card etc. Not sure what brexit has to do with it.

I also don't know why we get pencils to vote with. This is obviously a previous election, but you do wonder:

    General Election 2019 thread

It's hard to know what to believe, I follow people from left and right on twitter but there are whispers suggesting it isn't going well for Labour. Just seen a tweet from journalist saying that Tories will get most votes and seats in Wales. Not sure where this comes from, I guess it's exit polls...

Came from teachers at the school, most of whom will be voting Labour so no reason to make it up or exaggerate. Got a bit confrontational apparently. Such a shame. Always liked Cunningham, met him once briefly, very decent and principled man.

Sultana, the Labour candidate in Coventry South, being a case in point. On Tuesday she was stood outside Willenhall Primary School heckling parents as they left saying the school would close if they didn't vote Labour on Thursday. Imagine someone as honourable as Cunningham doing that. This...

    General Election 2019 thread

It's always been said that bad weather benefits the Tories as older voters are more determined to vote. Not sure about that this time, I have a feeling turnout is going to be very high. Social media is engaging young people in politics in a way we could not have imagined a few elections back...
