Jeez £7k a week or £360k a year is not a lot for a professional footballer in the championship. I can’t imagine many, apart from our youngsters, are on less than this. Not to mention the shorter the contract typically the higher the rate. This really is not a lot for a half season deal.

Agree with this. If Hull and Blackburn are seriously interested in BTA as they need him, playing hard ball til end of window may increase the bids. They will not want to continue til the summer if they have identified a real need now.
