For anyone who has never watched it or has not watched it for a while then BBC4 is showing the first two episodes of Early Doors tonight and think all episodes will be available on the iPlayer. Probably my favourite comedy series of all time.

I was exactly the same and thought it would be cheesy American shite that I’d hate. My Missus kept going on about watching it so I finally conceded and like you say just a really good happy go lucky watch.

I didn’t know he was ill either until the other day when I read, I think it was Richard Keys, saying he was in a very bad way. It does hit home when players that were playing when I was most obsessed with football are now passing away. What a striker as well. Such a shame and no age at all.

Kicked straight off as soon as they got in the Rocket as well. A guy my brother worked with at the time got his arm broke in the fighting. Some right lumps with them that night.

I always remember Millwall at Highfield Road on a Friday night the season after we got relegated from the Prem. Without playing up to stereotypes the amount of lads they brought that night was ridiculous!! Not a woman or Millwall shirt in sight!

Have to disagree with this. In the 90's we had been a regular top flight club for years so playing the "bigger" teams was not unusual and we were perennial relegation fodder with no real expectation of performing well. Anyone under the age of 22 would never have seen us play in the top flight...

In fairness he is talking about rugby fans and all the responses below appear to be from football fans who haven’t grasped what he was saying. Not saying I agree with him but he’s clearly not talking about CCFC fans and Wasps fans.
