Clearly missing the point. Don't see how win ratio can be used to accurately measure how our managers have done over the years, as I'm sure we weren't losing half a mill any other time in our history. ;)

Nope, just a positive thread about our manager. Are all the tiresome anti thorn threads there for only a reaction too ? Or is that title reserved only for the positive ones ?

This thread has already proved that some folk on here just can not accept any positive about our manager. Rather than look at this as a good thing, it has to be twisted into a "well 24 or more players havn't praised him blah blah" How very sad.

I agree, he was a totally different player back then. Like you say, he would take players on more and seemed skilful at times.

He didn't allways play centre back, but he did play in all of Thorns first 10 games, bar the first two when he was injured.

Or Thorn just thought Keogh and Cranie were the best centre back partnership.

I think it has. For example, there was a good interview with one of our new signings Adam Barton where he said he needs a little time to get used to the system and how the other lads around him play. So poor passing and simple mistakes can happen when players that havn't played much together...

I don't think that there is a book out there that says all players gel as a team in such and such time. Things are different in life. Plus we are only two games in ...
