Our poor run of form stretches back to the end of last season. Most players are the same as before. Over the last 10 league games our record is W1 D2 L7 with just 1 clean sheet. If that doesn’t ring alarm bells then I don’t know what will.
I don’t know what the current odds are but I was going by preseason pundits and almost everyone had us in their top 6 and some even had in the top 2. Maybe they were looking at things upside down..
Sheaf is going to be out for awhile it looks like (thought I saw 2 months being mentioned on X). Might be time to sell him and get 15-20M if we can and replace him with a CM that can actually play a full season.
Heard he’s injured again and could be out for 2 months. I think it’s better we try and get 15-20M in the Jan window for him and get a CM that can actually play a full season.
Although it’s early days we are already 16th. Although we’ve had slow starts before, there usually were mitigating circumstances. This season we are supposedly favorites for promotion, but look worse than ever. This bad league run stretches back several games into last season and still hasn’t...
The draw was due to an own goal but at least there was more fight in that team. This team is so soft and clueless about what to do and shows no aggression and sleepwalks until they are a goal down and then tries to make amends.
Robins saying at least we kept the scoreline close vs Norwich at 1-0 instead of being smashed 3-0 like previous seasons. I am not happy for moral victories. A loss is a loss and this Norwich team is nowhere near as good as those we faced in previous seasons. They are definitely beatable.
So Doug and MR are you happy with the below par performances, the new coaching structure, 4 points from 4 games (which is relegation form), the lack of reinforcements in midfield/defence etc etc.?
