I'd probably go along with that aswell mate. Wood is a decent defender, but McPake is far more solid. He reads the game better, is stronger and better in the tackle. Oh and Wood's contract expires at the end of the 12/13 season.

I've always been a big fan of McPake, so despite the fact Woody can cover left-back, i'd be inclined to let Wood go. Nothing against him though either. He's a good defender and a really nice guy.

Would certainly be a very good signing if we could get him for the season. He's quick, skilful and has a lot of trickery. Plus he can play up front or just behind the strikers. Who knows, maybe Conor's loan could have helped the relationship between the clubs.
