    Louis Garner being released

From what I recall Clarke-Harris had a bit of an attitude problem so probably best to let him go, but looked ok for Oldham on Monday. Callum Wilson had an off day and hardly saw the ball and JCH is def better than Eccleston and any other forward at the club. But as I say, on balance, prob not...

    2012/13 Squad vs. 2013/14 Squad

Never greatly rated Wood...but that was before I saw Webster and Seaborne:D

    Louis Garner being released

I'm not saying we should have held on to him but he posed more threat than our forwards last Monday and also scored at Sixfields!

    Louis Garner being released

Only really saw him in the pre season friendlies at Nuneaton and last season at Hinckley, but impressed on both occasions. Sorry to see him go. Sure he will do well somewhere.

    Cyrus Christie

That must be why he missed that header at Peterborough!;)

Letter from the club (well Otium Entertainment Group Ltd) thanking me for my support.

Got my letter yesterday as well. Was tempting for about 5 seconds then you remember what a soulless, depressing experience it is attending a match at Sixfields. I have been twice this season and am considering the Wolves match, but that is definitely as much as I could take. Don't subscribe to...

    Only 400 to Oldham..

Surprised you can't buy on the gate. However, I prefer to have a ticket in my hand before I set off and never leave it to chance. Collected at Peterborough a couple of seasons back and wasn't settled until we had our tickets! Looking forward to the game. First time to Oldham and completes the...

    Ratings v Peterborough

Poor in first half but better in 2nd when Baker came on. Just lacked quality up front. Murphy 6 Had little to do but good save in 2nd half Christie 6 More disciplined in defence. Should have done better with the header in 1st half. Webster 7 One of his best games with Cov. Composed at the back...

    The loan game

Stephen Warnock. Even got player of the year if I recall correctly!

    Who's Renewing Their Season Ticket?

Didn't realise anyone on here had a season ticket apart from RFC!! I will probably go to Wolves game which will make 3 'home' games and will finish up with 19 away. Prob do less home and away next season. Never subscribed to NOPM but Sixfields just isn't right and not our home!

Coventry City captain Carl Baker wants to finish his career at the Sky Blues

Always gives 100% even though the pass or cross that he intends doesn't always (often) come off! Be happy to keep him but not playing every game. Goal at Rotherham will always be remembered but also performances such as at Port Vale!

How far away from Highfield Rd or the Ricoh did you grow up?

HR 3.5 miles (Didn't realise it was actually that far, used to walk up regularly, stopping in town on the way, those were the days!!) Ricoh Arena 4.9 miles (though wasn't built then!) Now 10.1 miles (from Hinckley) Sixfields 35.5 miles now

    And the runner up is...??

This is something I looked at a couple of years ago. Middlesbrough are next, without a top six finish since 1998, although they finished 7th in premiership in 2005 and qualified for Europe! Next Portsmouth 2003 (Won the Cup 2008, finalists 2010) then 2004 Plymouth. Crawley are the only other...

    Favourite ever sky blue experience?

Mentioned many of my favourites there. Jim Blyth even saved a pen against Liverpool. We did actually have 11 players on the pitch but Ray Graydon was injured and just limped up and down the touchline! We had already used our sub (only 1 sub in those days!) Was also at Hillsborough when Oggy...

Player of the Season... Jordan Clarke??

Jordan Clarke looks our most accomplished defender......but that's a bit like saying Buster Edwards was the most honest train robber! He's given a few goals away this season but has been better than Webster and Seaborne. Murphy and Moussa have been good but Callum Wilson has to be player of the...

    to avoid the drop

Useless trying to predict individual games. We're as likely to beat Brentford then lose at home to Stevenage! Think we will scramble the necessary points - prob about 14 from the 12 matches left which will leave us on 55 - same as last season. Next season could be a nightmare, if we survive that...

First half was probably one of the worst I've seen all season. Was ready to boo them off until Callum's goal which we hoped would change the game. Better second half and should have at least gained a point against a poor Colchester side. Murphy 6 - although left exposed for both goals, feel he...

    Colchester United Away 8th March

I'll be there with my son. Only missed 4 away games so far, tho will give Gillingham a miss as well. First time to Colchester, another ground ticked off (No.71) Still get the buzz before the game, despite recent results!

    Next game

Tbh poor run started back in November after SP won Manager of the Month! We have won 4 out of the last 16 league games gaining 17 points. All seems to stem back to that stupid penalty given away by Jordan Clarke at Bradford in the last minute followed by those two 'home' defeats to Tranmere and...

    Tranmere Ratings

Murphy 6 - A couple of good saves, couldnt do much about the goals. Christie 5 - Ok going forward but tends to forget the job he's paid for! Seabourne 4 - Not impressed so far. Too many passes go astray. Can see why he couldnt get in the Yeovil team. Webster 6 - Fairly solid. Has improved as the...
