    Cost of Matchday hospitality

Legends is a bit of a cheaper option. You get a lounge to go in before the game, at half time and afterwards, but it doesn't include the dining options that some of the packages have.

    Cost of Matchday hospitality

Not sure that that will be the issue in this particular case - the lounge was always packed last season!

    Cost of Matchday hospitality

I think that the issue is around some of the other corporate hospitality, where other bookings have (presumably) already been taken for match days. I had a number of tickets in the Legends club last season. On a number of occasions we were "relocated" for games as the normal lounge had a prior...

    More good news !

Good move. Hope that it does help increase the crowds.

The year we had Graydon (and then Nardiello) on the right and Hutch on the left, it was much more of a 4-2-4.

    League cup draw 10am

I just hope that TM doesn't ask where Rochdale is! (For the older members of SBT)

CCFC- what do we want on Match-days?

It was just before my time, but I remember reading about marching bands, RAF dog teams and other such "gimmicks".

CCFC- what do we want on Match-days?

I thought our first Sky game was at home to Spurs, with Sonia as the "entertainment" together with skydivers and fireworks. 1-0 win, with John "he's so fast it's unbelievable" Williams scoring.

Mowbray wants to bring back Proschwitz permanently...

Didn't see that myself. I thought that Madine offered a physical presence whereas Proschwitz seemed to be very lightweight for a big guy - and he didn't show much else. I'm surprised at the news, but TM deserves plenty of "benefit of the doubt" as far as I'm concerned so I look forward to...

update on odds and ends off the pitch

I can only speak for myself, but beyond a degree of moral disapproval my main concern with the breaking of the rent deal was that I foresaw disaster. I recall when one or two on here were lauding the hard nosed approach being taken by the club, I cautioned that I was concerned we were starting...

update on odds and ends off the pitch

"Emotional" in this context in football usually refers to owners who are fans and who get "carried away". I'm not sure that anyone would apply that to JS, TF or SW. That's not to say that they have no emotional attachment at all to the club, but I can't see them having the ties of a long time...

update on odds and ends off the pitch

That may or may not be true, but even if "something" had to done I don't believe that that justifies doing "anything". I have no doubt that negotiating with the council/ACL was anything but easy, but the rent strike, the threatened liquidation, the "accounts being a bit of a mess", the...

update on odds and ends off the pitch

So £1.1m to wind up CCFC Ltd and how much so far in legal fees? And after all that expenditure we're left with a short term stadium rental deal that our Chairman tells us is unsustainable. Not to mention the lost revenue from our year and a bit in exile...... One day this will form a classic...

    Bigirimana and this mystery illness?

I think that the key thing here is context. If we had a thread about old players and someone posted that they thought Ernie Hannigan was crap, many may disagree but I doubt that they'd consider it a particularly ill judged comment. However when we had the thread about Ernie having passed away...

Season ticket prices with lounge access

Last season the Legends club was quite often moved to the first floor lounge because there were prior bookings for the usual lounge. In that case they would have been for bookings made prior to our return - which incidentally came as a shock to me after reading on here that Psychic Sally was...
