Apparently they are going to change this soon. I don't mind the Unity Pale Ale and Fair Lady, but to not have them on draft is odd.

Probably not, but if they feel they need to lower prices to attract that audience midweek, they can and will.

Yeah, sales looking quite healthy actually. Should be a decent gate.

It'll be fine. It's freshers week soon, and then students back en masse; they are bound to benefit from that during the week if they are screening live games, regardless of the CCFC theme. They have just started to market the upstairs function room, so I'm sure they'll have regular stuff in...

No evidence of that really. Blackpool was a good following and we didn't just about sell out for QPR, we sold out with ease a week before the game and while still on priority sale. Only Barnsley was below par but that was right in the middle of holiday season and it was still decent. If we...

You may be right, that was the game I was thinking of.

I thought 1900 would be about enough for this game, unlike QPR where it was never going to be enough (could have sold 3K comfortably). Millwall just isn't an attractive fixture for many. I think 1800 is the most I recall us taking there on previous visits and it was often less than that.

Don't buy a tube ticket. Just keep using your phone or contactless debit card at the barriers - at the end of the day is then works out the cheapest fare for all the journeys you made that day. I was here, there and everywhere against QPR, but TFL just debited a single payment of £7.40 at the...

Nightmare this morning. Usually done and dusted in 3 minutes, but still can't get over the line after half an hour of trying and a dozen timed out attempts.

    New supporters club near town?

Love the brewery by the ground, great atmosphere, but still plenty to do. They were pre-pouring pints in large numbers at 11.45, some of which were still there an hour later. A fiver for a pint that has sat for an hour and just topped up on service is not a good look. No IPA on tap is baffling...

Will always remeber that Simod Cup semi at Elm Park. Was only a youngster but remeber being devastated.

Tbf, he didn't have a pop at us, and it is true that when you spend years in a division treading water away followings do dwindle as people get fed up of making the same trips. It'll happen to us if we stay in this division for an extended period. That said, should be bringing more than 1K today.

First 1000 have gone, just a few singles left.

    QPR away

Prices are no worse that what we charged Forest the other week. A dad and his young kid would have paid £50 at the CBS; at QPR in the lower tier it is as low as £28 because under 8s are free. A bit pot and kettle if you ask me.

    QPR away

I think this will sell quickly, possibly even on day 1 now that they have made it 2 per ST holder. Just based on conversations and the amount of people planning to go. Saturday away days in London always popular. Was the last one Charlton of Riverboat fame? About 2800 there that day I think.

It perhaps did at that point because the season prior to that we were getting some truly horrific gates - down as low as 7000 iirc, so I did understand the thinking then, but even on a bad day this season we're unlikely to dip below 15K. Certainly makes no sense now. I do think the club should...

But there'll also be a much bigger walk up this weekend than we had against Forest. I wouldn't be surprised if the game attracted similar numbers.

Makes no sense. Where would you have put them against Forest? It would've needed to open anyway. It also helps the atmosphere to have fans around the entire bowl. In the League One days when it was closed, even when the turnout was good, the atmosphere in blocks 22-24 was dreadful because there...

It's mad. The East Stand was full for Forest. Do they want the people behind the goal to sit on laps? Leave it open. People forget that for most of our time at the Ricoh it has been open and the middle blocks were always popular. Just about changing habits. Not sure why people are so bothered...

    Crowd v Reading

The mystery regarding behind the goal isn't really a mystery at all. It's largely down to a lack of season ticket holders there. It wasn't open during phase 1 of sales, so 80% of people had already purchased before it was opened, and then couldn't be arsed to move, especially when they can see...
