I’m taking a guess here based on Doug’s interview earlier. Who knows… but it’s a significant investment from us.

I actually feel sorry for Ellis. I just don’t think he fits into how we are going to play under Frank. He needs to move on for his own benefit. Frank needs to bring someone who is in the mould of how he wants a striker to play in his team.

So I think we’ve paid £30m for the stadium. Mike paid £17m and Doug offered £25m back then. Money has been spent of the complex by Frasers. So Frasers doubled this investment approx…

Our commercial fortunes have completely changed over night. It’s a monumental moment. We were getting a small part of match day revenue with a cut going to Frasers, we were hiring the stadium from them. We were getting nothing from the hotel, exhibitions, concerts etc… now it’s all ours...
