    kcic campaign - new initiaitve

Torch, this is doing exactly what it says on the label - seeking to bring ALL PARTIES to account and seeking to put pressure on ALL PARTIES to reach agreement. Full details will be published next week but the petition will not be saying 'please Select Committee look only at acl/sisu [delete...

    kcic campaign - new initiaitve

Grendel, motive behind this is as stated - to bring all parties to account and apply pressure for agreement to be reached. I'll be in The Old Shepherd on Sunday so happy to discuss further over a pint

Who's been enquiring about Community Asset Transfer of the Ricoh?

Community Asset Transfer of the Ricoh was mentioned on here yesterday. I wanted more info so emailed locality.org.uk and got a very helpful reply which ended by saying 'We are also aware of others in Coventry interested in this...What appears to be required, I suggest, is a more co-ordinated and...

    kcic campaign - new initiaitve

Timescales aren't set in stone and even the thought of independent scrutiny might be an encouragement to agreement being reached. And, as ever, better ideas always very welcome!

    kcic campaign - new initiaitve

No! Backbench committee has a fairly decent time allocation so it's about persuading MPs it's worth a debate. Same for the Select Committee - it's up to the MPs on it to decide what to pursue

    kcic campaign - new initiaitve

Just posted at https://www.facebook.com/KeepCovInCovCampaign?hc_location=timeline and mentioned on cwr drivetime Let’s get on with saving CCFC! Seems to have been a lot of distractions this last couple of weeks so let’s get back on track with the next step in the kcic campaign. We’re all...

    The only way is out

JA - what do you reckon an acceptable exit option for sisu would be? And can you explain community asset transfer cos a few people are mentioning it but I thought it was to do with village halls? thx

Why do some people support sisu and acl not the team and fans?

I don't want to jinx things but has this thread been...amicable?

    kcic weekly update...

Forgot to say that the web address is now keepcovincovcampaign but the page reach is extensive so I'm not sure how wise it would be to ditch it completely and start a new page when lots of people are ok with the kcic-nopm campaign/tactic - I'm a pragmatist so if it ain't broke... And as a PS...

    kcic weekly update...

That's what it was called when Jim originally set it up. There was a discussion on the page in the summer which agreed to changing the page name to kcic but I then found it couldn't be done cos FB only allows name changes if you have less than 200 likes - hence the wording that's having to be used!

Why do some people support sisu and acl not the team and fans?

Just posted at https://www.facebook.com/KeepCovInCovCampaign/posts/533562210057631 Why do some people support sisu and acl not the team and fans? I have always said only two things matter: the team and us supporters, and I've never understood why lots of people have got into being...

    kcic weekly update...

cochese, last week was a great lesson in why City fans insulting each other gets us nowhere and becomes the story the media are interested in - instead of the focus being on the mess we are in and how we get out of it. It seems to me it's important we at least make a start on trying to see what...

Everyone on the hill for Saturday

Matty, I've posted this on the other thread too - I'm pretty sure 99.9% of people agree ccfc belongs in cov and that's the message for Sunday. There is no consensus about what to do for sheff u so rather than saying we all have to do one thing, it's up to everyone to make their own decision...

sheff u game - an actual event @ The Old Shepherd

Couple of people have contacted me saying they will do something to raise a bit of money for the Alzheimer's Society on 13 Oct - if anyone else wants to do anything email me at [email protected] and I'll get a job lot of buckets and leaflets from AS next week

sheff u game - an actual event @ The Old Shepherd

Just a couple of responses to other people's posts - you have to play the hand you're dealt. It would be great if everyone could agree on one thing but there is absolutely no consensus so saying 'let's all agree on the message that ccfc belongs in cov but people will be expressing that in...

sheff u game - an actual event @ The Old Shepherd

There is no consensus what to do for the sheff u game but personally I don't see that as a problem. What everyone agrees on (I think!) is CCFC should play in Coventry. Whether/how to get that message heard on 13 Oct is entirely up to each individual to choose. So for those members of the Sky...

13 oct v sheff u - time to put up or shut up!

Cheers, Northern. Didn't mean to cause confusion - I believe that if you talk things through (argue them out!) you end up with a better decision. TT is an unsung hero and one of the masterminds of the march and rally so if anyone can create unity and a successful event it's him - no pressure...
