    O'Hare bids

Yep. Burnley have never had a higher average gate than us when we've played at the same level.

    O'Hare bids

Coventry is not the 10th biggest city in the country, why do people always say that? City populations are meaningless when assessing the size of a 'place' - like the City Ground Nottingham, not being in the City of Nottingham despite being a 10 minute walk from the City centre. If you want to...

    O'Hare bids

Where does all this knowledge of 'younger generations' come from? I work with a couple of lads in their early 20s (not from cov) and they are not nearly as ignorant as you think. This is a generation that by 6pm tonight will know the numbers of away fans that every traveling club in the FL took...

Doubt it, they've taken about 10 rows of seats off sale for Rotherham game.

    New train strike announced

Hope so. Without trains the whole thing becomes a nightmare. Went on coach last season and it was awful, vowed never to do that again.

SAFC Fan In Peace - Can I just be the first to say....

There is no rivalry of course, but the fixture has a bit of an edge now. Nowt wrong with that, as long as it doesn't spill over into silliness, let's not get wet about it. In true KK style, I would love it tomorrow. I'm perfectly aware that a few people making jokes about Hitler and the blitz...

    Rotherham attendance

If Rotherham sell their 2k, we're already at 18K for this game 8 days out. Predictions of 'no more than 19K' are a bit baffling. Club are expecting 22-23K, but tomorrow will have a bearing for sure.

    Season tickets

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but blocks 14,15 and 16 (left of new fence) have a different style season ticket to rest of ground branded 'singers corner'. Guess makes it easier to identify when checking. Real pity that there will be so many empty seats there this season.

Missus was there this morning getting a ST for someone, and it took an hour for her to get through security - was left waiting for ages with nobody there seeming to be in charge or able to make a decision. That said, when she did make it through she was told the extra Sunderland tickets hadn't...

7am, bit risky that, catch some of the shite holiday season traffic on the A1 and it's not leaving a lot of spare time. even club travel leaving earlier.

Not really, they say no alcohol and most people abide by that, but a few don't and it's no drama. They might enforce it a bit more for this game though, expect the police up there to be aresholes.

The time they publish is usually 30 mins-1 hour before coach leaves, so 5.30am for breakfast and then on the way at 6.30am. Might be worth rocking up at 5 and beating the rush though.

    Sunderland tickets

Games like Blackburn, Preston, Wigan - they shouldn't fuck about - just get them straight on sale to ST holders. Same for most midweek games and low demand games like Swansea and Boro. As long at they keep the system just for the high demand games, it'll all settle down and people will buy...

It will be changed a bit, probably does need to have extra weight for away games, agree with that. I was in favour of it though, it did become a scrum at times last season and sales needed to be staggered.

    Sunderland tickets

Seems to be working rather well. Think back to games last season like Fulham, Blues, Albion and Stoke; unless you were on at 10am refreshing like a lunatic you would miss out. None of that nonsense now; 500 yesterday, same today I'd imagine, selling out as we go through the week - and all...

Because we should stand up for our ourselves. Other clubs (Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth) wouldn't stand for it. They shouldn't be able to arbitrarily and consistently contravene league rules without reproach because weak clubs like ours just take it on the chin every time. But but the...

    O'Hare bids

Did we? The last set of accounts were for the previous season, I doubt there was much residual income last season. Two mid-table Championship finishes. Sold nobody of note for 2-3 seasons. Two £1 million+ signings in last 2 summers. Rising attendances. No parachute payments or sugar daddy...

Agree. Other clubs have away priority points systems that is based on away attendance, that's the whole point. Give ST holders some form of credit, that's fine, but should be weighted towards those who travel most.
