    Goalkeeper

Joe Day for Newport has looked really good during their two play off games against Mansfield and during their entire FA Cup run. Maybe we wouldn't want to dip back into League Two for a young keeper but he seems impressive...

Video 2018/19 Goal of the Season Nominations

Seeing those little compilation videos with jaunty music makes you think that, despite all the drama off the pitch and (narrowly) missing out on the play-offs... the season's been pretty cool. Especially since it's our first since promotion back into league one. I think I'd also say H. The...

    Tony Gillan Sunderland Echo

Was just thinking this exact thing myself. Absolutely loved the match as it was happening and things fortunately went our way in the end. You'd like to think that after an afternoon like that, two sets of fans could respect what a crazy match it was that could have gone either way... But because...

Your Bad Days At A Match

Most big moments sound like they were before my time and fortunately I've not experienced much trouble at games, but being at the match at Villa Park where we got relegated wasn't pretty. The away fans were sat directly under the higher tier of home fans (kind of like the reverse for the...

    Sunderland Highlights

Thanks for posting! Incredible result. Not sure I could have handled us scoring 4 and not winning!

    Ex Player Watch

Just read that McNulty has earned a Scotland call-up. He seems like a new player again at Hibs. Good on him.

    Applause on 7th Minute

I'm not making it this weekend but this is a lovely gesture. Hope the word makes it out there to the larger audience. Condolences to anyone affected.

FIFA19 features retro Coventry (kind of)!

Ah possibly! I actually gave FIFA a miss last year so missed that chapter of Journey mode. Kind of want to play it just for that but it's not worth the 60 quid! Might look into 19 but after a couple of years without a football game, I'm a bit more tempted by PES I think.

FIFA19 features retro Coventry (kind of)!

For those playing - or planning on playing the Journey mode - there may be slight storyline spoilers here. I wasn't planning on buying FIFA this year but if all these Cov extras are in the main game as well as the journey mode, I'd be more tempted! Full article here: FIFA 19's The Journey begins...

    Video Oxford U v Coventry

Trying to work out who shouted the very audible "fuck off!" at around 22 seconds into the video xD First half was nothing to shout about but thought we looked good second half. I'll take deflected own goals all day long if it works.

    Coventry City 2018/19

I think top half would be a great achievement but not sure we're quite there yet. I can see it being a quiet season with us finishing just in the bottom half, say 15th or so. I think there'll be spots where momentum swings and we're up in/near the playoffs, but can't see us having the...

    Becoming a Sky Blue

Mine was hereditary, too. My dad is a Coventry supporter so my brother and I just carried it on by default. I was born in 1986 so although I went to games as a really young kid, it was the early 90's when I started conciously going. We'd go to games most Saturdays at Highfield Road. Loved those...

    Sky Blue Goalscorers Quiz

Missed Tony Andreu, Kelly-Evans and somehow... Jodi Jones! Despite his opening day hat-trick being one of my favourite moments of last season. What a muppet.

    McNulty or Armstrong

Really like them both but it's Armstrong for me. McNulty has been class for most of this season and really want us to hold onto him, but Armstrong just had so much fun with it all and looked far better than League One in all aspects. You felt confident in him taking every chance he got, whereas...
