Wasn't he something like Magwitch as well?

    Transfer targets

At Oxford he was still finding his feet, and clearly didn't fit into how they wanted to play. He has now had 18 months football behind him, is impacting games and has his confidence back again. He will be a completely different player than rocked up at Oxford after leaving us. I just thought now...

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

I can't see the top 4 changing, although I expect Ipswich might slip a little and finish 4th. They have so many points in the bag already I just can't see their form slipping so much that they would finish lower than that however. In regard to the other 2 places we have got ourselves in a nice...

    Transfer targets

Can't see it happening but now Jones has gone away and got his confidence back tearing up League 2, I wouldn't mind having him back now that we are playing a system more suited to him.

    Callum contract offer

Yes, before his injuries he was the most fouled player in the league, but even so was never away for the odd week here or there with niggling injuries that other players get, and was a permanent fixture in the team. The 2 long term injuries he had from the start of last season were innocuous...

    Ref

You keep saying this, but despite lots of people asking you I've still not seen you say what Thomas should have done instead. It was physically impossible from where he was for Thomas to curtail his follow through, just as it was for the Leicester keeper when he did that kung fu kick that Godden...

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

While your confidence is justified given our current form, it would be dangerous and complacent to think that no one below us can average 2 points a match for the rest of the season. History tells us otherwise in there are many instances of 'surprise' improvements in the second half of seasons...

    Milan

Yes, I'm sure I rememberan ITK (can't remember who) posting that MVE was a bit of an arse and not popular with the rest of the squad. Alongside O'Hare he is the absolute heartbeat of the team, and I love how his combination with Sakamoto is developing. Defences we play against on that side...

Video Mark Robins and Callum O'Hare react to Coventry City's win over Leicester City 🎙️

He was particularly one eyed. To be fair that is a trait of the most successful managers - particularly straight after the heat of battle. I'm also not so sure MR would have been as magnanimous about their penalty if it had decided the outcome of the match.

Bristol (H) moved to Tue 30th Jan 7:45pm

I guess you would rather we had lost to Oxford so that you could have had your Saturday game? Unfortunately the more successful a team is the more their fixtures will be moved. This is nothing new, well maybe for us it is, but if we want the team to do well it is unlikely to get any better.

    Flags ?

There was a bigger attendance for our play off final than there was for the FA Cup final.

    Modern day legends

Oakey was a right back! Alongside Kevin McDonald, Perdomo was the slowest player I ever saw and would have lost a foot race with Jan Molby. He was suited to continental football at that time but not the fast pace of English football. Other than that I agree with you :)

    Supporters forum 17th January

The obvious question has to be what plans the club have to maximise the stadium capacity, instead of leaving 2,000+ seats not utilised? I also agree with questioning the approach of opening ticket availability block by block, leading to many people hold off from buying when single tickets are...

If we could only win one ...

I was there too. It was near the end of the game, and the stewards/ police that had been there earlier had pretty much vacated the divide between the fans, presumably to deal with crowd control as fans left the stadium. Despite not looking likely to all game, Man City scored right in front of...

FA CUP 4TH ROUND DRAW - MONDAY 19:50 (ish)

The reaction on here is so predictably knee jerk, just like on a match day thread, and some of you need to take a serious look at yourselves. This is not the worst possible draw we could have got! Away days to Watford, Swansea, Ipswich, Leeds, Plymouth, Luton or Bournemouth would all have been...

    Matty Godden

Yes it is disgraceful. I would hope though that Godden would have the sense to know that any such mail is/ was not representative of City fans, and that not acknowledging those supporting him and chanting his name is counter productive, and the wrong way to make a point.

    Strategy: FA cup

MR's aversion to the cup is overblown, certainly in terms of the FA Cup anyhow. The League Cup is a non event now, barring drawing a real big club or getting as far as the semis, and it never bothers me when we lose in it, beyond the annoyance on the night itself. The FA Cup though is a...
