Do Otium pass the Fit and Proper person's test?

I had been wondering about the possibility of a request for a judicial review of the Football League's decision. It wouldn't quite be a test case - a judge decided some time ago that the FA was outside the scope of judicial review. However, things have moved on since then and it is possible...

    ACL is being very quiet

Wingy, unfortunately this may not see the completion of the review. This is merely stage one, a judge will decide if there is a case for a review and, if there is, this will take place some time in the future (possibly next year). I am not sure if it has been posted before, but there is a good...

Have we really been brought so low that people are getting excited about the first round of the Capital One Cup?

    PH4 to buy Ricoh

And I am amazed that anyone can see a future for a football team without a stadium, but you seem to be fixated with ACL and their perceived problems. Wake up, the real problem is SISU's attitude to anyone who stands in the way of their attempt to gouge money out of owning the club. That means...

    ACL isn't letting this drop

What, give the council some credit? That doesn't fit the agenda at all :)

    I Don't Understand?

I have been pondering that. It is possible that everything could now be wrapped up in Otium and this could be offered for sale. If, as I suspect, the original investors have no share of Otium, then all proceeds of the sale go to SISU and they might be quite happy to walk away with £10m or so...

    I Don't Understand?

I think you are overestimating SISU - they don't have countless holdings companies, just a few involving CCFC. They are, in fact, a rather small, shabby outfit trying desperately to punch above their weight.

    I Don't Understand?

I suspect James that most of them will have given up on this investment a long time ago and will now be able to plan offsetting this loss against gains on better investments.

    ACL isn't letting this drop

And one way to do that would be for ACL to inform the Football League that under no circumstances will the club be allowed to play at the Ricoh under SISU (after administration). That will force SISU to actually provide detailed plans and proof of funding for their new stadium, something I am...

    I Don't Understand?

I said on another thread that, as far as we know, the successful bidder, Otium, is owned by SISU and not by the original investors who now stand to lose everything. In effect, SISU are screwing those investors (as well as CCFC fans) and all perfectly legal.
  13. R

    preferred bidder is sisu

Interesting that Otium are acquiring it. This might mean that SISU are proposing to liquidate CCFC Ltd, CCFC Holdings and any other companies the original investors have a share of. In other words, SISU now own the club outright and the investors have lost everything. The supporters are...

Tim Fisher: You can't handle the truth!

I have never gone for the line that Fisher couldn't answer questions about ground share or location of a new stadium because the Football League hadn't yet approved the plans. What reason would there be for the Football League to object to disclosure of these details? More likely that Fisher...

Tim Fisher - Chairman Calimere Point Group.

All smoke and mirrors to deceive the gullible. It costs very little to set up a company, get an accommodation address and create a website. Add a few acquaintances as "associates" and it can look impressive. There are plenty of lawyers in the UK that offer a cheap service to set up a...

    Sisu Capital Accounts.

There is only one fund with any money, the hedge fund. Managing this is where SISU's (dwindling) income comes from. The other funds were created as vehicles for the original investors to fund the CCFC takeover. I would imagine most of this original investment was drawn down at the time and...

    Sisu Capital Accounts.

It's just an Experian report that says they don't have the money to support CCFC let alone build a new stadium.

    Fisher On CWR Now

Whether SISU are reputable or not, they cannot provide security for a £30m loan nor can they afford the repayments.

    Fisher On CWR Now

Finance £30m for little more than the cost of the rent, I doubt that very much. For any loan, the interest rate is set after assessing the risk of non-repayment of the loan and the residual value of the asset. Building a new stadium for SISU would be considered by any sane lender as very high...

    Fisher On CWR Now

Nonsense - London house prices increase because there is demand. How much demand is there for a crappy 15,000 stadium in Coventry or S Warwickshire (apart from our deluded owners)?
