    Wasps downward spiral...

It had crossed my mind as it has everything they would need, just off the motorway, central, hotel on site. Pitch would be the big thing though

You say that, and yes they had quite a dip, but on last 5 games form they have a better record than Rotherham, Sunderland, Fleetwood and Portsmouth

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

This is where there's going to be real problems for me, in football as a whole. Every club will have a list like this. There will be 100s of Junior Browns/Jordy Hiwulas, across the country who will be out of work come 1st July, No lower L1/L2 club will be rushing to get their cheque books out...

    Wasps downward spiral...

A couple of months ago Wasps would have been looking forward to getting CCFC back paying rent at the Ricoh, in the Championship with 20/25000 fans chomping on their pies and drinking their beer, paying for their parking, using their Casino, staying in their hotel, to subsidise their failing...

I think theyd have to relegate bottom 3 if they finish all the games. Can't see the Championship doing the same if games aren't completed though

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Aslong as the Champonship finishes and relegates 3 Ill be feeling pretty confident. If just Prem finishes no promotion/relegation is a very real possibility apart from Champ & Prem and likely Barrow making up the 92

There could be a scenario where we are crowned Champions but don't get promoted

    Wasps downward spiral...

If the stadium falls back into the hands of CCC due to defaulting on bond, what is there to stop Wasps buying it again or even renting it from CCC (at a friends rate)? Bondholders get screwed, Wasps continue to play at the Ricoh, CET spin story, everyone just carrys on.

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

There's going to be a lot of out of work footballers come 1st July. With bums on seats a pipe dream currently how can any club sign a free agent once their contract is up?

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

If the season was voided would prize money still be handed out? Clubs need that money now more than ever. If it isn't then I can't see any clubs voting for a void season apart from Tranmere and maybe Southend. If it is then how is it handed out, you need final positions to correctly split the...

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Plans for Italian and Spanish leagues to finish behind closed doors, Real planning to play some games at their "training ground" which isn't really a training ground as it is about the same size as Bournemouth's ground. If they can get theirs done then the Prem will finish their games. Which...

    Wasps downward spiral...

If Wasps default on the bonds, I believe stadium falls back into the hands of CCC, is there anything stopping CCC selling it back to Wasps? bondholders essentially getting screwed?

Just a thought about next season.....

Plenty of championship sides will be cutting fat whenever the next transfer window comes, 2 or 3 shrewd free signings added to our current perm squad could see us with a team capable of staying up. As he has always done there will be a couple of youth players brought into the senior squad...

I'm not sure this can happen due to the Bury situation though? If there had been no postponements through the season one team minimum would have always been behind on games played until season was finished.

Yea, would have to think a first is way too high, 31 year old tackle with a history of injurys, he may have a little more in his tank due to inactivity the last couple of years but youd have to think he's one twisted ankle/knee away from being done

Feels like the start of a cycle for the skins 2-3 years, defensive front almost complete if we do take Young which looks a no brainer, you then have 2-3 years to improve the back end of the defence and decide what you want your offense to look like in that 2-3 year period, if this defence can be...
