Just finding a solution to our goalkeeping problem has made us significantly better than last season.

Torp and Dasilva impressed, Perry did well and Allen slotted straight in as he always does. We still have some work to do upfront.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Well how many goals is he coming off this season compared to last? This time last season he was full of confidence and had the fans behind him. 12 months later hes had a poor season where he managed less than half the league goals of the previous season, and many of the fans want him...

No one suggested we shouldn't strengthen up front, we are weak in both boxes. You do realise we can bring in a CH and a Striker as well dont you? (Doable if we sell MvE for £10m and use the Binks and Gyokeres money)

I agree, but with Wright not fit, and no new striker on board (as yet) we are struggling. We really need to find a way to get something positive out of Simms. (Somehow)

His movement has been good, but the ball still doesn't stick when played into him. Im looking to see if Lampard has managed to improve him during pre-season, we can't afford to pay him £25k a week to sit on the bench, and no one else is taking him off our hands, so there's a lot of...

Some very sloppy play early on, but improved as the half went on, Rushworth already looks a massive upgrade over Wilson and Collins, but Kitching looks off the pace, MvE is having a tricky game, and as usual we look weak upfront. Rudoni looking sharp and took his goal well. Looking...

It's better that we find out any problems before the season starts, and playing decent opposition is good preparation. A couple of years ago we were playing the likes of Exeter away as our final pre season match, and yes we looked ok, but it was only papering over the cracks, it didn't push...

Doug prefers younger players we can develop and make a profit on. (Grimes being an exception who was bought due to Sheaf's injuries and form and was excellent value) Supposing we bought Doyle for £10m and he helps get us into the premier league, it would be money we'll spent. Plus his...

I think you'll find Man City dont want shot at all. They've resisted every approach so far, and priced him outside the price range of any championship side. You clearly dont rate him, that's your opinion, but I have a feeling there will be no shortage of takers should he be made available...

Premier league players won't spend £10m+ on a 21 year old that's still developing. Give him another year or 2 and PL teams will spend £30m+ on him. Premier league clubs want PL ready players now, and will spend the big money. We arnt in that position.
