Bit harsh calling him a fringe L1 player, he was injured for the first half of the season then was in pretty much every matchday squad in 2020. If Robins thinks he's good enough then that's enough for me.

MacFadzean does have Championship experience, however he has been relegated from that league in 2 of his 3 seasons there. Obviously not all down to him but that was in his prime, he'll be 33/34 this season, if he makes 35+ league starts for us this season I'd suggest we'll end up in trouble...
