Apparentl Joy threatens liquidation if half stadium is vetoed

Can the charity sell their 50% of ACL to anyone they want to?

Apparentl Joy threatens liquidation if half stadium is vetoed

No they don't have to go into administration first - they can liquidate if they want to provided the funds are still being made available to keep it solvent - SISU can do this if they want to Administration is required by law if the company is insolvent and may or may not result in...

Apparentl Joy threatens liquidation if half stadium is vetoed

Getting the half share at a big discount from ACL makes their investment look a lot less sick but my no means does it get them into profit territory Club is still losing millions a year and will do for another couple of years at least and has virtually no assets (players aside - make up your...

Apparentl Joy threatens liquidation if half stadium is vetoed

As SISU are obviously funding the club putting the cash in as required to keep it solvent then yes it's their call and they can put it in admin as they want to

Apparentl Joy threatens liquidation if half stadium is vetoed

She won't not now not just over this - it's just posturing if true - OK so by now she will have worked out we are League 1 for another season after this so a £5 MILLION hole in the cash flow unless they get lucky with another player sale or two - but the ACL deal gives the club no cash benefit...

Joy seppala has steadied the ship!!

Totally agree it was a basket case before they came in - however it is still a bit of a basket case you have to concede that- they have been at it for FIVE years and we are a worse position now then we have ever been - that's not my opinion it's reality Losses run into millions a year still -...

I think the fact a member of this forum is on this SCG is at least a starting point - good to see - any other SCG members on here?

Joy seppala has steadied the ship!!

Sorry but I disagree - SISU are not it would seem a shrewd outfit in their management of this investment and I do not think they have some fantastic grand master-plan hidden from the world - they bought into a plan that has failed in spectacular fashion and they have NO EXIT at the moment -...

Joy seppala has steadied the ship!!

As a side issue does anyone know how SISU are doing in any of their other ventures? I expect obviously some of their investments to have come off but there must be other notable failures along the way - that's how venture capital works - would be interesting to see how long they kept hold of...

Joy seppala has steadied the ship!!

They are here for now because they do not have the balls to admit it is a total cock-up and continue in the hope that they will get lucky and be able to minimise the losses or even make a profit - SISU should know when to give up and that was a good while ago - but we have egos here the size of...

    Supporters Consultative Group

Not a good thing IMO - relying on a single point of contact for all their 'customers' is open to huge distortion by the representatives of the group as inevitably they will focus on whatever issues they want and probably end up being steered by a single or couple of individuals with who knows...

Lee Hughes Won't Play Against City - Poll

Whether he plays or not is immaterial IMO - his crimes will define him for the rest of his life - when football gives him up I hope he does something positive with his life - he cannot change the past - he has at least that opportunity to do something for the better

    Will turn around bring investment?

NO NO NO.... ACL is 50% owned by the council .... the charity owns the other 50%

    Will turn around bring investment?

Errrr... ACL own a LEASE on the stadium not the stadium itself Also just because you own shares in a company it does not give you an automatic share of the profits - the board will decide if a dividend is to be paid to the shareholders and if so at what level - it makes sense for ACL to use...

    Will turn around bring investment?

They will get the ACL shares at a big discount - it's a very good deal for them in the long run regardless of who owns the club
