    Apparently according to the radio

I wish I could change his record but I'm afraid it average whichever way I look at it.

    Apparently according to the radio

Its a no win choice to be honest. I couldn't dream up a more below par shortlist but that's Coventry at this current time. When Robins took over Rotherham they were 13 points from safety and in the 12 games he was in charge he managed to close the gap to safety to..... 13 points. With the...

    Who Do You Miss?

George Boateng was almost unstoppable when he joined us. Loved it when he and Macca played together. I remember away in the cup at Liverpool when we beat them 3-1, he made Ince and Redknapp look like a couple of part timers.

    Aftermatch Excuses (Shrewsbury)

    I think I'll go for 2,3 & 6 with a side order of 9

    Adam Le Fondre

Well if he gets the job we will soon see what eye for talent he has when he brings in a few in the loan window.

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Yes he took them up to 18th and then the following season improved to 17th. Average team = average result. They are 13th at the moment so perhaps they will do better this season. Too early to tell.

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

I think the point is that Rotherham had a very very strong team when they were top of league two with La Fondre and Nicky Law etc. Barnsley had a very average team and performed very average with no improvement under Robins in the two seasons he had there. We have IMO a very average team so what...

According to CCFCTV the three names on the short-list are:

Its a rubbish short list but all that aside whoever gets the job will still have to work with the same team. So which one will get the best loan deals? As non of them will be successful IMO without some good loan additions.

    Michael Appleton

I think he was talking about Harry Shaws with a drop down TV screen and toilet amenities

    Our Situation In Album Titles

Has anyone released an album called "Hire Robins and we're all doomed"? Well I thought it was kind of catchy

What avoiding relegation? Yes in that case you might be right.

    Bring back the diamond!

"Forever in my blue jeans" was good at the time but I think we should let Neil retire now. He's past it. Just take your posters down and let it go.

I can see it now "Coventry is one of the biggest brands in football" and "Our new manager is Mark Robins". Two ridiculous statements in a week. My cup overflows. It might put an extra 10 on the gate. Has he got a big family?

    If City were a band

The band would have to be Status Quo as its been like this now for fucking years and the song obviously Down Down. Oh I'm off to put a Smiths track on followed by some Radiohead to cheer myself up.

    Stephen elliot

Yes I agree but then we have to drop Wood and Barton for Stevenage, Hussey and Baker for various games, Kilbane, etc etc. Shall we get our boots on?

McDonald and Elliott have played most of the games until this last couple. They have both scored 1 league goal so nothing in it there. Elliott works the channels so plays differently to McDonald. McDonald needs 10 chances to score. Elliott had the ball in the net twice against Stevenage so it...

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

To be fair I never had a problem with Adams or Dowie and both IMO would do better than the 3 mentioned. Reid wasn't here long enough and wasn't given the funds he wanted but Boothroyd was struggling.
  18. Black6Osprey

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Yes but we don't need (I could be wrong on this) to avoid a relegation battle. We need to win games consistently and get promoted this season. Has he achieved this? Actions speak louder than words for me and we hear enough bullshit now about what we could and should be doing. I want an achiever...

    Bring back the diamond!

You cant say 4-4-2 doesn't work in football. Its still used throughout all levels of football, even the premier league and national teams. It doesn't work all the time for sure but just because other formations have become more fashionable doesn't make other formations redundant. I also prefer...
