    Fleetwood Town

When we were appointing Tony Mowbray, Uwe Rosler was without a job at the time. I had hoped we would appoint him, based on what he did for Brentford. I wonder was he on our radar at that time. Seems a good guy, named his sons after two Man City legends, Colin and Tony!.

    SBS&L accounts 2016

The match receipts look a bit low, season 15/16 - we had an average crowd of 12,500 which gives 288,000 for all our home games. Match receipts (net) were £2.31 which is £8 per person per game. Face value of the tickets include 20% VAT, so a £20 ticket is actually £16 after VAT. Does £8 seem...

    Cov v Oxford final

We could get at least another 5k tickets if not 10k. But at present the football league only see us only selling 25k in two weeks, this long period between priority 1 and 2 will not help us getting more. I understand last year you could buy tickets at Wembley on the day of the final. Strange in...

Reply to a letter in the 'Independant on Sunday' May 95

I always though there was a very low attendance for a midweek game at Plough Lane Wimbledon vs City, but looking at the record book, most of the Plough lane attendances were very consistent around 4,000 But there was a record breaking low at Selhurst Park around 2,077 in 2002 against City, but...

    The Pitch

I dont think Ashton Gate has any problems, same as Ricoh footie and rugby played there as well. Alot of our home games were played in the wet during the autumn.

    Wembley protest idea

Please note if you worried about funding sisu: Final ticket money goes the league / pot not the Clubs, Winners get £100k Losers £50k. Games upto the semi-final were split 45% to each team and 10% to pot

A Few Thoughts From Last Night...

Point 1 - It's not acceptable at Rugby matches - at football it might be where you sit, I generally goto the West Stand, as there more people of my age etc, never heard any swearing sitting at that location. In the early days of the Ricoh I went to the East stand once, had someone splurting out...

    Willis gone, Exodus begins!

Sell Sell Sell - I wonder do these transfers include a clause for a % of any future transfers, suspect not, to maximise the transfer fee that will be undisclosed. Stiffing the sisu exit here, but we will be left with few players, no training ground, academy losing its status and no home and no...

Match Thread Coventry v Morecambe Match Thread - Tuesday 15th Nov

Just wondering which game Page served his one match suspension. If he is not available for the FA Cup then he should not played last Saturday, ie serving his one match ban. It looks like he served his ban for the First Morecambe game, so he should be available to play, but I would rather see...

    Morecambe Tickets

What are they expecting about 1,500 - also lack of catering on the west side. Perhaps they let every one into the Director / VIP seating and buy them a pie.

Match Thread Coventry v Chesterfld Match Thread - Tuesday 1st Nov

"It's now 14 games unbeaten at home for the #SkyBlues, equalling runs set in 1934-35 (Div 3S), 1935-36 (Div 3S) & 1979-80 (Div 1) #PUSB" Also in 1966/7 we went the last 13 home league games of the season undefeated + first game at home in Div 1 = 14 games as well.

    Season tickets?

In regard to ticketing. The CCFC web site for Shrewsbury tickets was inaccurate in regard to these additional fees, it called them processing fee and ticket master calls it Serrvice charge and delivery charge. It also said the processing fee would not be charged for print at home tickets. So I...

    Season tickets?

Second class post for second class service . Its obvious that the Club have has selected the economy package with ticket master to save money and ask the fans to pay their fee, ie £1 booking fee per ticket for non seasin ticket holders. Are the season tickets electroniccards?

    Why Play Barton ?

I cannot understand the supporters who give stick to Barton - He is a good quality player in this league and we been very lucky to have him around, although he has had very few starts.

    Sisu and the £1m?

Its so easy to answer thus question - it will go to run the football club - will mean that Sisu will have less to fund this season. Comment such as for the "first time they have to pay the wages" - where do you think the shortfall on income over expenditure has come from for all the previous...
