    Want To Worry SISU

Here is something that should worry SISU: http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/birmingham-city-paladini-says-would-6205505 £20m offered and, supposedly accepted by the CEO, for Birmingham City, a Championship side, still in receipt of Premiership parachute payments...

    Les's Results

Well, according to Les Reid in the CET : "it appears a good number of fans – many of them city council taxpayers - want the Sky Blues to return to the Ricoh Arena as soon as possible. So too might city taxpayers at large." Where did he get that opinion from - fans on websites and forums, CET...

    seen this?

I will not sign this and I hope all right minded fans will not sign it. It stinks to high heaven of SISU spin - all talk of a new ground has long disappeared and all we have had in the last few days is "let SISU have the Ricoh". This is another clumsy attempt to sway public opinion and...

    Distress

I do not believe that all those who go to Sixfields have the morals of sewer rats. There is a small minority who have said, explicitly or implicitly, that they care nothing for the Higgs charity or Coventry ratepayers and are quite happy for them to lose out if that enables SISU to make a profit...

    Distress

Well said Sir Ernie. Thankfully, most of the fans do not have the morals of sewer rats and are not prepared to back SISU.

Parliamentary debate on football governance and CCFC

At least Geoffrey managed to get himself in front of a camera without a piss stain on his trousers this time ;)

Sorry Jack, I should have made my point clearer and have now edited the post. You are quite right on your interpretation of the original.

Turn it into a silly thread? The OP started it.

    Commercial Suicide

Don't get too excited - there are probably not many Conference sides that will bring 900+ fans with them.

    Commercial Suicide

If, and it's a big IF, they can keep the club in this division for the next 5 years and build a new ground, do you seriously think anyone will be daft enough to pay £100m for the club? The going rate for a League 1 side with a 10k-12k ground is likely to be nearer £10m than £100m.

Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

Sounds like a certain journalist and a fairly new poster whose half dozen posts have all been in defence of said journalist. Silly you indeed.

Who Votes Sell the stadium to SISU

Your grasp of English is obviously a lot better than Grendel's if he thought his post was an example of irony.:D

Who Votes Sell the stadium to SISU

Yes, something else SISU didn't think of before they acted - as tenants they could have been offered a deal that no other party could seriously challenge.

Who Votes Sell the stadium to SISU

Here's a thought: If the council were anywhere close to selling the Ricoh to SISU at a knockdown price, it would surely encourage all sorts of entrepreneurs to look for a way to muscle in. What is to stop a wealthy backer of, say Coventry RFC, making a similar bid? How could the council refuse...

Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

When SISU decided to do a runner from the Ricoh, there are only 3 possible explanations: 1. They intended to build a new ground but that is increasingly looking like a pipe dream. 2. They were willing to risk everything in an attempt to distress ACL and pick up the Ricoh for free or at a...

Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

Unless there is some unintended irony here, I presume you are shortly going to reveal your true identity.

It seems to me as if SISU have got Les Reid to deliver the ransom note.

    Tonight at the casino

The only point to this sort of thread is to make the SISU apologists feel better. They can find nothing positive to say about SISU, or a future under SISU, so they resort to posting negatives about the former landlord and the council.
