Burge is a top keeper, who is on the fringes on the England U19 set up. I was lucky enough to coach him in the academy before he signed scholarship forms and he's a top lad. Great attitude, desire and ability. With Oggy taking him under his wing now he will flourish. :claping hands:

Does anyone know where the club are with contract renewals? Sammy is the obvious one who is out of contract at the end of this season. Has he been offered a new deal etc etc? And who else is and who is likely to stay?

Yes he does. I think he looks steadier than Ireland and has proved himself at this level and will only get better, especially as he is now an Irish U21 international at the age of 19.

Having worked with them both in the academy GK arena, IMO, Quirkey is better than Ireland and if I had to choose which to offer a contract to it would be Quirkey but tbh he would benefit from working with another senior GK for a year or two and be an able number 2 when called upon.

Now we are proving we likely to challenge, does anyone have any ideas as to whether he will stay or not and if not will it impact on the second half of the season?

I broke this on the Laurent thread about an hour ago! He will be a good number 2 and I think we have option to buy at end of loan period

Colin Doyle from Blues has signed on loan with a view to a permanent deal so he will probably play tonight!
