    Even If!

I agree, but what is needed first are owners who (a) give a damn about the community and (b) can afford to build such facilities. EDIT: I can't believe I just replied to a post by RFC, I thought I had him on ignore!

Court fees & solicitors question ????

There was no need for any of the huge costs of the legal actions or the administration. It is just SISU trying to prove what hard nuts they are: “If we don’t get our way, then we will batter you in court because we are Billy big bollocks” Sad fact is, their attempts to batter people in court...

Oliver Kay In The Times On That Award

And what exactly is that supposed to mean? Is half hearted bullying acceptable? If your kids came home from school saying they were being threatened, would you tell them it isn’t serious and to wait until they have the cuts and bruises before complaining? You really are a first class prat.

Oliver Kay In The Times On That Award

Very true and Oliver Kay also had something to say about that in his column today. Several of the leading German clubs are scrapping their B teams because of "limited benefit" and even Bayern Munich II could only attract 328 spectators to their last home game.

Oliver Kay In The Times On That Award

Oliver Kay had this to say in the Times today on that award: Coventry City have won the Football League’s family excellence award, which recognises the “outstanding experience” provided by clubs for young fans and families this season. This is the same Coventry City whose owners, the...

What I would like to see

Which councillors should step down from the ACL board? Or do you expect ALL of them to step down?

Reasons not to push for an independent mediator and/or arbitrator

If you want a resolution, why not resurrect the offer by Hoffman's group to buy CCFC and get an arbitrator in to decide that? But do ignore the fact that there may have been no substance in the offer and that SISU did not want to sell.

Reasons not to push for an independent mediator and/or arbitrator

What is there to arbitrate? Arbitration makes about as much sense as suggesting a marriage counsellor for a couple who obviously hate each other. One partner is now only interested in one-night stands and the other partner is going to announce who their new spouse is in three weeks.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

More distractionary nonsense from Labovitch. In the real world, when one company wants to buy another, they make an offer, much like a couple of multinationals that have been in the press recently. Pfizer have obviously put a value (to them) on Astra Zeneca and have made a couple of offers-...

    End of Season Thoughts

The seven year decline, under these owners, continues. Our points total this year is less than last and form over the last quarter of the season would put us firmly bottom of the table. I judge our owners on that and, unfortunately, can only see the decline continuing. No doubt there will be...

    Fit and proper?

You're thinking of him arranging for Joy to meet Ann Lucas - an easy mistake to make.

    Fit and proper?

Who would have thought that a lark by a man in late middle age would have led to CCFC playing in the Third Division in front of a non-league gate while £60m in debt? That Chaos Theory has got a lot to answer for.

    Charity Value of its share

I'm sure it would cheer his neighbours up if it was.

    The Mark Labowitch Thread

Can I just say that I don’t want a meeting with Labovitch and certainly have no intention of attending any forum that he organises (if he ever does). I expect the people in charge of the club to manage it back to a better position in the football hierarchy and to manage it back to a location in...

    The Mark Labowitch Thread

I don't feel left out, I feel lucky that I have better things to do in life than waste my time listening to prats like ML (and, come to think of it, replying to prats like you).

    The Mark Labowitch Thread

The wriggling by the people who attended these meetings is hilarious and the embarrassment is almost palpable. Why so coy? I’m guessing that the meetings were either held in a public toilet or a male only sauna or that some inappropriate touching went on. Or was the Labovitch/Byng double act...

FAO Simon Gilbert or Andy Turner

That £50 could be all important and cover the bus fares for Wilson's replacement.

sisu are not good for our club - well someone's got to say it!

Well said Michael. Putting aside any of the bogeymen of the last seven years (ACL, CCC, Andy Thorn, Preston Haskell, etc), SISU have been responsible for the welfare and management of the football club. In this, they have failed spectacularly and even the owner admits to mistakes in an attempt...

    Joy's Programme Message - Preview

From the Coventry City Programme 26 April 2014 "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all you truly loyal Sky Blue fans for supporting SISU this last season. I realise it has been difficult for a few of you that live in Coventy to travel to Nottingham to watch your team, but that has...
