One of the stands would have to be the Tommy Hutchison Stand. It will be great to see the whole stadium branded with Coventry City stuff in the way that other clubs have done, both inside and outside. Much improved over the last couple of years but can be made into even more ‘ours’

He played the first half of the friendly against Bristol Rovers and did nothing. You would think that he would be desperate to impress but he really looked ordinary and I don’t think he has featured since.

That’s a good point and something I hadn’t thought of before. Our team in that semi final was very young. For Hutch it would have meant he he lost the mantle of being one of the very few players to score for both teams in a cup final.

Tommy worked in schools for twenty odd years after finishing as a player, first in South Wales and then for Bristol City in the Community. He loved it, especially when he was working with kids from disadvantaged backgrounds that were similar to his own.
