I agree, from the very second the players heard from the tannoy how long was left you could see their heads going. Zero composure when the pressure is on, that's why we're going down!
Thought we dealt with them well in that second half and you could see that they were getting frustrated. Then one simple punt into our box in the last second has the back four all over the place.
Gutted to say the least, those six points dropped since Slade took over would have been really...
Afternoon all,
Meant to take my missus to the game at Wimbledon tonight but she's feeling pretty worse for wear and won't be able to go. She's also insisted that I still go, against my many protests ;-)
Anyone interested?
Live around the corner, so reluctantly going to this. Dragging the missus along too, last time was away at Charlton and she looked thoroughly unimpressed!
Yeah it's pretty decent all round to be fair. True about the overground, although I checked the route on Citymapper and it seems to think that the Bakerloo is slightly quicker from Willesden. Doesn't matter either way though!
South west train from Surbiton to Clapham junction, overground from there to Willesden Junction and then bakerloo from there to Wembley Central! Seems a bit of a faff, but only about 40 minutes from south west to north west London!
Watched the highlights last night. I know it was all shite, but their second was the softest goal I've ever seen. Morison was allowed to carry the ball 20 yards without a challenge, play a simple pass into our box unchallenged, their other man was able to turn 8 yards out and get a shot in all...
It really is bleak isn't it?! My first game was 'that boxing day' match in '99 against Arsenal. I was hooked ever since. The whole experience was magical, and as a young kid at the time I couldn't have asked for any more. I've seen my fair amount of great games and absolute shite in the time...
Other way round for me. I think RCC should be the back up and Burge to be sent out on loan.
Burge has more areas of his game that need improving IMO and would rather him get the bad habits out of his system elsewhere!
Agree totally with the last bit, not enough credit has been given to him for that headed assist. Could've easily gone for goal but decided to set Tudgay up to head home instead.
Good article, highlights the mess the club finds itself in. The only thing it will achieve is publicity, which is the best thing we can hope for at the moment!
